2003 Chevroley Silverado odometer: 115000 fuel : gas transmission : manual title status : clean
truck needs some work so sale is "as-is" because I don't have the time or money to fix.
I do drive this truck daily right now!
Most of the miles are highway as currently put on 600+ miles per week...90% of which is highway.
Selling because my other vehicle is working perfectly and need the money.
This truck was my FUN vehicle to drive and love driving it.
Now for the good and the bad
GOOD
V8 5.3 L engine
4x4
Automatic
Power windows & locks
Towing package and Z71 suspension
Nice big towing mirrors
3" Lift with aftermarket tires and rims
aftermarket CD player with bluetooth
aftermarket running boards
BAD
*I had my mechanic due a full inspection on truck prior to posting this so that you know I'm be straight forward and honest with items needing some work perhaps now or in future. You are of course welcomed to take to your own mechanic as well.
Passenger window don't work...probably needs new window motor
Will need new tires within the next year probably as have some wear on them
Airbag Sensor light on...needs new sensor10
Check Engine light on...inspections shows EVAP vent valve is faulty
Bumpy ride..partially due to lift and tires and partially due to front end needing some maintanence..inspection showed idler and pitman arms are loose, all four ball joints are loose, and the shocks are weak, and tie rod ends have slight play
ABS light comes on randomly and then shuts off..don't know why
Some rattling near drivers rear tire...inspection shows rattling due to parking brake shoe
Truck needs some maintenance so obviously not asking high end KBB price.
KBB price not factoring in lift and aftermarket tires and rims is $10,389 for "GOOD" and $9,715 for "FAIR"..split difference a KBB is $10,000
So adding aftermarket items I'd say add $1,000
So subtracting maintance items I'd say $2,000
so asking price is $9,000 or BEST OFFER.
