This 2002 BMW M5 has been mine for over 2 years & is in very good condition. I have done quite a bit of maintenance & repairs recently & I'm very confident in the car that it will last a long time & drive anywhere. I put on a lot of miles & the miles will continue to climb as this is my daily diver.
I have a set of Blizzak winter tires on 18" rims that have seen one season already, but should last another season. The factory rims are in good condition, however the paint is peeling on the rear wheels. This is a common issue with these cars & the rims are not damaged- so either repainting, powder coating, or plasti-dip would make them look a lot better, but it hasn't been a priority for me. Most of this car is factory condition. I am not one to overly modify my cars. I did upgrade a few lights so they are LED & match the xenon headlights, and there are no error codes from them.
Recently I have done quite a bit of work. Over the past year the car has had installed:
New Clutch & Flywheel (BMW factory parts- not lightweight aftermarket parts that chatter)
New Guibo (flex disc known for wearing out)
New stainless braided brake lines (upgrade & much improved pedal feel)
New Brakes (Front & Rear upgraded drilled & slotted StopTech rotors & StopTech/Centric pads)
New Valve Cover Gasket
New Water Pump
New Thermostat
New Temp sensors
New Control Arms (front & rear uppers)
New Clutch Stop
New AFE Dry Filters (I have the K&N filters as well if you want them- but the oil used on the filters can gunk up your MAF Sensors.)
New Transmission Mounts
New Fuel Filter
New Windshield (took a rock a few weeks ago- so it's now a brand new one & not pitted like many high mileage cars out there).
& many other things.
The price is negotiable, but I do know what I have & have invested well over $10,000 into the car over the past year. I also know that this one is in very good condition compared to many out there, but it does have high miles & is over 12 years old.
