The 2013 SRX has been freshened with a new front fascia that includes LED lighting in the fender vents. Inside, every SRX receives Cadillac's CUE 8-inch touch-screen infotainment system. Active-noise cancellation aims to make the SRX quieter, and new technology such as adaptive cruise control is available.
For 2012, a new 3.6-liter V6 replaces the two previous engine choices, and a new Eco feature is added to the current 6-speed transmission for increased fuel economy. Additional refinements include an available heated steering wheel, new Xenon Blue exterior color and ebony interior trim. Bluetooth hands-free phone technology is now standard across all trims.
New standard features for 2011 include a rear backup camera and Cadillac's Premium Care Maintenance program that covers, at no charge, scheduled oil changes, tire rotation and replacement of engine and cabin air filters for four years or 50,000 miles. Full keyless access is now standard on Luxury and Performance models.
With the previous model's marginally useful third-row seat gone, the new 2010 Cadillac SRX's beautifully designed two-row interior is much more comfortably usable. And the new standard 3.0-liter direct-injected V6 and available 2.8-liter turbocharged V6 are more fuel-efficient than the outgoing base 3.6-liter V6 and 4.6-liter V8.
With its edgy, chiseled appearance and long list of available features, the 2015 Cadillac SRX luxury crossover-SUV has further expanded the automaker's appeal to a younger audience. Despite going on its fifth year in this iteration, the SRX still manages to hold up well when pitted against such rivals as the BMW X3, Audi Q5 and Mercedes-Benz GLK. Although not as athletic as the Germans, the SRX still manages to impress with its moves. It also offers a more comfortable ride, plentiful interior room and powerful V6 engine. Couple this with the SRX's impressive safety features and technology-rich CUE touch-screen infotainment system, and the SRX proves why Cadillac is very much still in the luxury crossover-SUV game.
