A new Turbo R-Spec trim is added. The R-Spec brings unique visual elements, a B&M short-throw shifter, red leatherette bolstered cloth seating, enhanced suspension and steering tuning, and the lowest price point in the Turbo lineup. New features for the Veloster Turbo include torque vectoring and Active Sound Design in-cabin sound enhancement, while automatic climate control is added to the options list. The base Veloster gains a rearview camera, a driver's blind-spot mirror and daytime running lights.

2013 marks the introduction of the Hyundai Veloster Turbo, a more powerful version of the Veloster, which remains in naturally-aspirated form. In addition to the souped-up engine, the Veloster Turbo features unique front and rear styling, bigger wheels and more standard features, including leather seats. Hyundai's first use of a matte gray paint will also see its debut on the Veloster Turbo.

The 2015 Hyundai Veloster offers up the looks of a 2-door with the practicality of a 4-door. It pulls this off by literally offering both. The driver's side features a single long door, while the passenger's side has two smaller ones to let rear-seat passengers get in and out more easily.
