Infiniti built the 2013 QX56 SUV to take on such giants as the Cadillac Escalade and Lincoln Navigator. But many of its owners compare it equally with more expensive vehicles such as Land Rover's Range Rover and the Lexus LX. Despite a move toward smaller, more fuel-efficient SUVS, Infiniti knows there will always be a large segment of population that needs seating for eight and an ability to pull a luxury powerboat or horse trailer up to 8,500 pounds.
