Used Mazda CX-9 SUVs

The CX-9 mostly carries over for 2014. Slight changes include updated wheels and the addition of rear cross-traffic alert on Touring and Grand Touring models.

For 2013, the CX-9 receives a freshened exterior with a new design front and rear. Inside, a 5.8-inch color touchscreen is standard, as is a new infotainment system with HD Radio, Pandora Internet radio connectivity, text-to-speech capability, and a new microphone for better speech recognition. Blind-spot monitoring and a rear-view camera now come to the mid-level Touring models.

There are no major changes for 2012.

Other then improved fuel economy and some new wheels, there are no major changes for the 2011 Mazda CX-9.

For 2010, the CX-9 receives a slight exterior and interior refresh, gaining the company's new signature front end, large side mirrors and a new headlamp/fog light design.

A trip computer is made standard on all models, while Bluetooth phone capability is added to the Sport trim. In addition, the Sport trim can now be equipped with heated seats, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror is added to the Grand Touring.

A new 3.7-liter V6 replaces last year's 3.5-liter unit and provides more horsepower and torque. Mazda's Blind Spot Monitoring System will be available later in the model year.

We were skeptical when Mazda claimed sportiness as a key attribute of its new crossover utilities, but they have surprised us by delivering on that promise. The CX-9, created specifically for North America, is the largest vehicle Mazda has ever brought to this market.
