About Mercedes-Benz
Porsche is the likely answer for the mainstream supercar, Ferrari comes to mind for exotics, and for everyday luxury, chances are you'll hear "Mercedes". Most of us lack the means to own one of these coveted rides, but when asked what we'd choose were our bank accounts flush with greenbacks, models from companies such as Mercedes-Benz are sure to top the list.
Designed to compete with vehicles such as the Lexus IS and BMW 3 Series is the Mercedes C-Class; the powerful Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG takes on the BMW M3 and Lexus IS F, among others. However, the C-Class offers just a taste of the Mercedes lineup, which includes the larger Mercedes-Benz E-Class, the top-notch Mercedes S-Class, and the coupe-like Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class. There are also a host of coupes and convertibles bearing the Mercedes badge: Mercedes-Benz CLK-Class, Mercedes-Benz CL-Class, Mercedes-Benz SLK-Class, Mercedes-Benz SL-Class, and the rare Mercedes-Benz SLR-Class (better known as the SLR McLaren).
In addition to the lineup of Mercedes cars is a smattering of utility vehicles, starting with the small Mercedes-Benz GLK-Class. This slots in under the well-known Mercedes M-Class, the attractive Mercedes GL-Class, the wagon-like Mercedes R-Class, and the boxy Mercedes-Benz G-Class.
