A year after a complete revamp, the big news for the 2014 Pathfinder lineup is the introduction of a hybrid model. Also new is a tech package that bundles goodies such as a Bose premium sound system, navigation and 8-inch touch screen.

Pretty much everything but the Nissan Pathfinder name is new for 2013. That includes a transverse-mounted 3.5-liter V6, Xtronic continuously variable transmission (CVT), unitized body, front-wheel-drive version, All-Mode 4x4 all-wheel drive system, EZ Flex seating, available panoramic sunroof, and many other new enhancements.

For 2012, Nissan gives its Pathfinder SUV a few more features, including navigation on the LE trim and an available moonroof and DVD entertainment system on the Silver Edition.

In addition to some new interior/exterior color combinations, the LE-V6 now features as standard equipment a power glass moonroof, while the LE-V8 gains standard navigation. The Off-Road trim has been discontinued.

All models receive front side and side-curtain supplemental airbags, as well as an auto door lock feature and two new exterior colors. 18-inch alloy wheels previously available only on V8 models are now standard on LE V6 models.
