About Ram
The Ram pickup is the truck formerly known as Dodge. In the restructuring of Chrysler, the Dodge Ram truck line was given its own division and is now known as "just" Ram. But, rest assured, whatever you knew about Dodge Ram pickups in the past continues with the Ram brand.
The Ram line is built by Chrysler and includes the medium-sized Ram Dakota -- available as an Extended Cab or Crew Cab -- and full-size pickup lineup that includes Ram's best-seller, the 1500, plus the Heavy Duty 2500 and 3500 lines. There are also Ram Chassis Cab models in 3500, 4500 and 5500 versions. With the Ram pickups, there are Regular Cabs, Mega Cabs, Quad Cabs and Crew Cabs, and the engine choices include a base V6, a 4.7-liter V8, the formidable 5.7-liter Hemi V8 and the relentless 6.7-liter Cummins turbodiesel. You can have a Ram with two-wheel or four-wheel drive, with dual rear wheels, and it includes all the capabilities, creature comforts, ruggedness and clever features for which the Ram line has been well-known.
Every Ram pickup is covered by a basic three-year/36,000-mile warranty, with a five-year/100,000-mile warranty on the powertrain.
