For 2014 the Sequoia SR5 gets the Entune Audio Plus system, the Limited gets Entune Premium Audio, and the Platinum trim level has Entune Premium JBL Audio, which is optional for the Limited. Entune Audio leverages a smartphone for fully integrated access to navigation, entertainment and information services.

For 2011, the Sequoia receives some minor interior upgrades, such as an off switch for the daytime running lights. The Sequoia's trailer hitch connector is now the same as on the full-size Tundra pickup.

For 2010, the Sequoia SR5 receives a new 4.6-liter V8 engine as standard equipment. This new V8 produces 310 horsepower and is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. Other changes for 2010 include a revised grille and tail lamps, standard front knee airbags and a revised standard equipment roster.

Substantial revisions to the 2008 Toyota Sequoia include a four-inch longer wheelbase, a one-inch increase in width and an all-new independent rear suspension. These combine to boost interior room. It also gets a strengthened frame, larger brakes, electronic stability control and an optional 5.7-liter V8.

Toyota's 2015 Sequoia full-size SUV provides all the space and ability expected in a vehicle of such massive stature with the added benefit of strong resale values and proven reliability. On the flip side, the Sequoia's 7,400-pound tow rating pales when compared to the 9,200-pound rating for the Ford Expedition, and the Sequoia doesn't offer as much cargo room or horsepower as a Chevy Suburban. The Sequoia also falls near the bottom of the pack when it comes to fuel economy. If you can live without having bragging rights in every category, however, the Sequoia's excellent fit and finish, well-appointed interior and rugged outer skin should be enough to leave no doubt this is the right full-size family SUV for you.
