Used Volkswagen Passat Sedans

For 2014, the VW Passat sees a number of improvements. A new 1.8-liter turbocharged engine will gradually replace the 2.5-liter unit as the base engine. VW's Car-Net connected services will be offered on select trims, and a rearview camera is now standard on SE and higher trim levels.

After its thorough remake last year, aimed specifically at attracting more American consumers, Volkswagen's mid-size Passat sedan is little changed for 2013. Some tweaking inside makes the center console's cup holders and storage space more functional, and a rearview camera is now offered on the top SEL trim level.

The Volkswagen Passat sedan is not only larger, better equipped and much lower in price for 2012. It's also tailor-made just for North America, in North America.

The Passat's six-speed automatic transmission is replaced by Volkswagen's new DSG (Direct Shift Gearbox) automatic, which is far superior to the auto/manual gearbox it replaces. Bluetooth hands-free cell phone connectivity is also made standard on both the Sedan and Wagon.

The Passat line is paired down to a single model: the turbocharged Komfort trim. New standard equipment includes heated washer nozzles, power sunroof, fog lamps and 17-inch alloy wheels.
