The 2014 Volvo S60 has an all-new front end. Inside, there's a new instrument cluster and trim treatments. The option packages are upgraded, and there's a new Sport Package and a Blind Spot Information System Package, an enhanced Tire Pressure Monitoring System, additional stand-alone options and some new paint colors.

The big news for 2013 is the fact that Volvo All-Wheel Drive with Instant Traction is available for the first time on the value-priced S60 T5. The 2.5-liter T5 5-cylinder engine also receives internal tweaks that allow it to pull stronger, though peak horsepower and torque remain the same.

Following a major redesign in 2011, the Volvo S60 adds two new model grades to the lineup for 2012, including an entry-level T5 trim with a turbocharged 5-cylinder engine and an R-Design variant boasting a 325-horsepower turbocharged engine and a sportier design. The 2012 S60 also adds a rear-seat entertainment system with headrest-integrated LCD displays to the list of options.

All models receive more standard equipment, along with a higher price tag. The contents of the Premium Package have been made standard on 2.5T and 2.5T AWD models, while the sporty S60 T5 receives features contained in last year's Advanced Package. In addition, the Geartonic manual-shift feature is now standard on all trims.
About Volvo S60
The 2015 Volvo S60 sedan is largely carryover, with the exception of what's under the hood. The new Drive-E T5 and T6 4-cylinder engines are the first in a whole new series of powerplants from the Swedish manufacturer that will eventually replace all of its current engines. They're a nicely modern addition to this car, which already boasts one of the most accommodating interiors in its class. Performance is eager, with responsive handling and, topping it off, there's Volvo's long-standing reputation for the utmost in safety features and occupant protection. The 2015 S60 comes in both front-wheel drive (FWD) and all-wheel drive (AWD) although the Drive-E engines are only available on front-drive models for now all wrapped up in a sleekly elegant exterior and competitively priced.
