It's 80 minutes of dead air.
Peter Howell
Boredom sets in long before the last muted shriek. And who cares about the astros? We never get to know them anyway.
Joel Brown
For most horror fans it will be kind of a snooze.
Eric D. Snider
The source of the creepy events, when it's finally revealed, is profoundly dull, like a forgettable episode of The X-Files or Fringe.
Mark Olsen
The film takes a startlingly long time to rev up, and even at less than 90 minutes feels thin and at moments like it is playing for time.
Mike Hale
Accomplishes something the world wasn't really crying out for: it recreates the tedium of watching the later Apollo missions.

Despite stretches of skillfully sustained suspense, Apollo 18 ultimately comes across as little more than a modestly clever stunt.

Interesting to watch, but... I'm pretty sure I'd have enjoyed it more if they'd simply said it was a scifi flick instead of advertising it as "authentic". I was annoyed every time I saw objects and persons reacting to what was so obviously Earth's gravity.
Great Flick Especially if you know about the Apollo missions...got interesting quick and captures you more and more till the climax. Much better than expected. I can see how a 12 year old would get bored though which would explain some of the really negative reviews. I really enjoyed it and highly recommend it.

Paranormal Activity, alien xxxxx, and stranded in space My title pretty much explains it all. The movie advances at a very slow pace and gives you an overall experience that is very much like Paranormal Activity and then bad crap happens on the planet. The trailer gives up the rest of the film.Like Paranormal, it pretty much serves you everything and leaves you with no real satisfactions. Like telling you 2 + 2 = 4, this answer is not only easily figured out but I gave you no satisfaction of answering the equation.
Apollo 18 Great concept; bad movie. "Real" footage premise is lame and rather insulting to anyone with a brain - which is just everyone who would be drawn to this topic. Storyline is intriguing but dies amongst the poor directing, editing, and lack of plot development beyond the confines of the spacecraft. Do not waste your money.
Good idea, poor movie The premise behind the movie is good but the movie itself was poorly done, good acting, reused footage from Apollo, good set, bad editing. They had a great idea with this movie but it could have been polished more.
Why pay regular price for a low budget film! I wanted to see this so bad! But it was a big let down. Just one of those movies that make you wait and wait for absolutely nothing. Im giving up on these low budget "real footage" movies for good. In my opinion the only good one was The Fourth Kind.
Bad....just bad I was very disappointed with the overall plot and the need to suspend logic to get through it. All the great suspense built through the movie is destroyed by a very basic "B" movie monster.....all hype no substance.
Stay away Very poor movie and stupid plot. Rent at your own risk
Awesome movie though they should have added a better alien.still good movie Good movie
Great movie I didn't think it was worth renting at first but I now love this movie if you like sci-fi type movies or stuff then don't wait to rent this movie
GREAT MOVIE! Its really an awesome film to watch with your lady <3 LOL but if you look at the website given at the end of the film you'll be shocked on the stuff on it

Plot holes like moon craters. So the whole story is based on a secret DOD mission to the moon in the 1970s to place listening devices to track the Russians. Its one of those "found footage this really happened" flicks. First off, if this a top secret mission, why schedule a "secret" launch that can be seen and tracked? Wouldn't it make more sense to include this as a "science" experiment on a regular mission? Totally blows the premise. That and the "we're government funded alien bait". Dumb.
Great movie All the bad reviews make no sense. They must've been born in the late 90's. Which makes sense why they think its a waste of film. This movie takes me back to when i was a kid watching the first trip to the moon on a box tv.
Alien armageddon Can not get download to work no way to get a refund bad movie Great money maker.
