Michael Agger
Once the rude shock of a profane Claus wears off, there's not really much to do except await the next outrageous remark.
Christy Lemire
Even when the film threatens to turn feel-good, it thankfully resists the urge.
Richard Schickel
Best of all, it plugs into -- and electrifies -- the mostly unacknowledged grimness that lies just beneath our holiday cheer.
Scott Tobias
Much like School Of Rock, Bad Santa salvages a tired, paint-by-numbers formula by resisting it every step of the way, stubbornly refusing to stop its juvenile fun until the last possible moment.
Joe Morgenstern
I wanted to believe in Bad Santa. At least half of the time I did.
J. R. Jones
Zwigoff and company wring some laughs out of it, though the tone is uniformly mean and vulgar.

Wonderfully tasteless, gloriously non-PC, admirably bilious; humourless souls should steer clear.

Crude, silly, but kinda smart and funny, too. A recent classic. Thornton is great.
Raunchy and hilarious! Billy Bob is great in this comedy. I found myself laughing through most of it. Definitely check it out!
Darkly awesome A good way to vent your pent up anti Christmas energies.
movie won't play I will never rent a movie again from android. It took over 6 hours to download. When I was finally able to watch it I had to pause it with 17 minutes left. Tried to watch it later the next day and won't play. Now I can't finish the movie.
Greatest Christmas movie ever Really raunchy and funny, never a dull moment. That trailer sucked though, like a cheesy 90's movie trailer.
Classic Simply one of the best comedies for the Holidays, take a chance if your alone home and bored, you'll crack a smile. "Let me make you some Sandwiches!"
Quality Funny movie but quality was terrible. Mouths didnt match the words. And it kept freezing every 30 seconds... Waste of time
Not bad but not special This film has some funny moments but not much else to it otherwise.
Awesome movie This isn't a typical Xmas movie but is one of my favorites.. haha. What ya hiding in those pants Santa?
Great movie Awesome movie! Definitely not for the kids though.

Jason Bateman makes his feature directorial debut with the subversive comedy, Bad Words. Bateman stars as Guy Trilby, a 40-year-old who finds a loophole in the rules of The Golden Quill national spelling bee and decides to cause trouble by hijacking the competition. Contest officials, outraged parents, and overly ambitious 8th graders are no match for Guy, as he ruthlessly crushes their dreams of victory and fame. As a reporter (Kathryn Hahn) attempts to discover his true motivation, Guy finds himself forging an unlikely alliance with a competitor: awkward 10-year-old Chaitanya (Rohan Chand), who is completely unfazed by Guy's take-no-prisoners approach to life. Critics rave, Bad Words is "the funniest, smartest, most entertaining comedy in a long time!" (Pete Hammond, Movieline)

The Guard

Sergeant Gerry Boyle is an eccentric small-town cop with a confrontational and crass personality and a subversive sense of humor. A longtime policeman in County Galway, Boyle is a maverick with his own moral code. He has seen enough of the world to know there isn't much to it and has had plenty of time to think about it. When a fellow police officer disappears and Boyle's small town becomes key to a large drug trafficking investigation, he is forced to at least feign interest when dealing with the humorless FBI agent Wendell Everett assigned to the case. Left to run his territory to his liking for many years, he is not at all impressed when the FBI comes to town. 2011 Boyle Film Productions Limited 2011 and UK Film Council. All Rights Reserved.

Academy Award(R)-winning Tom Hanks turns in a hilariously original performance in THE LADYKILLERS, the laugh-out-loud comedy that explodes with outrageous wit and slapstick humor from the Coen Brothers. Underneath Professor G.H. Dorr's (Hanks) silver-tongued southern gentleman persona is a devious criminal who has assembled a motley gang of thieves to commit the heist of the century by tunneling through his churchgoing landlady's root cellar to a casino's vault of riches. But these cons are far from pros. As their scheme begins blowing up in their faces, their landlady smells a rat. And when she threatens to call the police, they figure they'll just bump her off. After all, how hard can that be? Wickedly funny from start to finish, it would be a crime to miss THE LADYKILLERS.

"Will Ferrell shines" (Detroit News) as Nick, a career salesman who loses his wife and his job in the worst day of his life. Faced with his life imploding, Nick puts it all on the line -- or, rather, on the lawn -- as he moves himself and all his possessions to his front yard.
