Rafer Guzman
The star and co-writer of Bridesmaids, Kristen Wiig, puts herself and her female co-stars through the comedy wringer.
David Edelstein
Bridesmaids is likely to be a hit with both women and men, being half formula chick-flick, half raunchy comedy of humiliation. It's hilarious -- and too bifurcated to be satisfying.
Lisa Kennedy
Onetime Saturday Night Live castmates Wiig and Rudolph make Annie and Lillian's friendship believable. Which is why Annie's shenanigans are sad -- and hilarious.
Leah Rozen
The movie won't change your life or grab a fistful of Oscar nominations come next winter. But it will make you laugh, hard and often, and it proves that sometimes girls just want to have fun.
Tom Huddleston
An effortless blend of bad taste and good humour with a wholly believable, often very touching emotional core, all centred around one of the finest star-making comic performances in recent memory.
David Denby
The movie is uneven and lurching, but it provides many laughs.

Bridesmaids is a stiletto-sharp, raunchy, no-holds-barred yuk-fest that stands as a worthy female counterpart to the likes of Wedding Crashers and The Hangover.

Waist of time I feel like every second I spent watching this film was a complete and utter waist of my time. If I could get a refund for my time waisted I'd do it!! Horrible isn't good enough to describe this movie. There were MAYBE two scenes that made me chuckle that's it. Such a shame too because I heard such good things about it.

Bridesmaids Movie is Classic! This movie isn't just a continuous laugh a minute... it actually has a story line, so expect a few moments of some heartfelt drama, too. Bridesmaids isn't a "chick flick", good entertainment should be for anyone who enjoys the arts. I've also heard people compare Bridesmaids to the Hangover film: both are equally unique. Don't judge a book by it's cover. Watch the movie and decide for yourself. I give Bridesmaids two thumbs up!👍👍

Innovation! I've literally never heard of anyone not liking this movie before I read these comments. I'm interested to know what those people find funny if not this. PBS specials with ancient puns, perhaps? This movie is one of the top five most hilarious and heart touching films in the past 30 years imo. These women are genius, hilarious pioneers!

Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly, who last teamed in the box-office smash Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby, now star in Step Brothers, directed by Adam McKay (Talladega Nights). In Step Brothers, Ferrell plays Brennan Huff, a sporadically employed thirty-nine-year-old who lives with his mother, Nancy (Mary Steenburgen). Reilly plays Dale Doback, a terminally unemployed forty-year-old who lives with his father, Robert (Richard Jenkins). When Robert and Nancy marry and move in together, Brennan and Dale are forced to live with each other as step brothers. As their narcissism and downright aggressive laziness threaten to tear the family apart, these two middle-aged, immature, overgrown boys will orchestrate an insane, elaborate plan to bring their parents back together. To pull it off, they must form an unlikely bond that maybe, just maybe, will finally get them out of the house. (c) 2008 Columbia Pictures Industries, Inc. and Beverly Blvd LLC. All Rights Reserved.
