Don't tell the kids, but Santa Claus isn't real and Pixar is fallible.
Derek Adams
Time, perhaps, for the franchise to be towed off to the scrapyard. Sorry, Pixar.
Rafer Guzman
It's an example of what a sequel should, or at least can, be.
Peter Rainer
Cars 2 is marginally better than its predecessor, but the same problem still remains: Cars just aren't very interesting as anthropomorphic animation vehicles (pun intended).
Logan Hill
...by Pixar's outrageous standards of Oscar shoo-in virtuosity, this sequel is a disappointment at best.
Lisa Kennedy
Larry the Cable Guy has helped make Mater one of Pixar's sweetest creations. He just happens to reside in the studio's least-magical franchise.

Not that Cars 2 is an actively bad animated film. It's just sort of an average animated film.

AMAZING!!! I just love this movie! The best Pixar film yet! Only a pure genius would have thought up the complicated plot of the spies and the bad guys and until almost the end I didn't think Axlerod would have been the mane villain! I love it!!!!
Love it I love this movie. It's funny and super cute. It keeps my 3 year old nephew entertained for a long time. He gets upset if you dont play it over and over again. Also, did anyone else realize that they snuck in an “i was with your mom last night” joke?
A spare $3.99 Saved our vacation! My 3 y/o was restless in the car, we had 200 miles to go, and nothing was working. We stopped at a Starbucks w/a hotspot, quickly downloaded a favorite film. He cradled my T-Mobile G2 for the rest of the ride. Perfect!
Worst Pixar movie This movie is awful. I watched it just knowing that even though it looked bad Pixar doesn't make bad movies. Well there is a first time for every t thing and this is an awful movie.
LOVE IT!! I dont know why people think this is a bad movie. Its fun, funny, and totally entertaining!! People just dont know a good KIDS movie when they see one. =)
Cars 2 My baby loves it and not only that also adults get addicted to the good fine and fantastic movie
Mediocre Very cliche (problems arise and get solved in happy ending) but good story. Could use more character development
Under Appreciated Proof that Pixar can make good sequels that aren't Toy Story. This is a spy movie that doesn't get boring with its exposition and is entertaining for kids as well.
Good movie Good movie, I liked the first one better, but still another good movie by Pixar.
Booo!!!! Would give it no stars if I could. It sucked donkey balls throughout the entire thing. My children ran away for two weeks after seeing this movie.
Mariah Sweeeeeeet movie! but TOOOOOOTOLY NOT better then the 1st 1!!
Rent make avalible Please make this avaliable for rent in America!. I haven't bought it for that reason!
