Generation Changers Some people are generation changers. They inspire us, change our way of thinking, and help us realize there is hope for the future. Desmond Tutu is one of those people. I am sad to say that I didn't know who this man was, but watched this video on the recommendation of a friend. I am so glad I did. The video does a great job of showing how influential and inspiring one person can be.

What a wonderful film! I really loved this! I thought I knew a lot about Desmond Tutu and the struggle for social justice in South Africa, but I really understand the man and his country so much better now. It made me laugh; it made me cry; it inspired me!

We can all learn from Desmond Tutu! This film is a great insight into a great man. I learned so much about him, I didn't know. At least in the states, he's not exactly news priority, sadly. He will inspire you while making you laugh. It's amazing everything he's been through over his lifetime and how wonderfully positive and a great example he is to the world.

Desmond Tutu has changed the world, saved lives, as PeaceJam is doing with their selfless and stunning devotion to bringing positive change to our complicated world. It's an amazing piece of film, well worth your time and dollars. Thank you again - all of you - for your brilliant light.

Fear Can No Longer Rule Our Lives - Choose Love, Compassion & Action So amazing.....thank you for sharing your Mom's film. Please tell her congratulations from me, and to all of you who have been dedicating your lives as well. Yes, every person needs to see this film and understand how impactful and important Desmond Tutu and Nelson Mandela are to the world. Makes me want to help! We should never underestimate the power of one person, and even more powerful, community, faith, and courage. I saw a sign in London yesterday which said, "Do Something That You Are Afraid Of Every Day!" This documentary gives me personal courage to get involved. Thank you!!

On the film documentary Children of the Light" Having lived in South Africa several punctuated times before and after The Change, I took great interest in the remarkable emergence of this new nation carried out impossibly it seemed with so little violence. This peaceful transformation was primarily enabled by this diminutive saint, as tough and powerful as a human can be, in the form of Desmond Tutu. Having grown up admiring the heroic Gandhi, who found that most difficult middle way between violence and pure pacifism, I found in this beautifully crafted documentary a compelling story of the envelope of a beatified life beyond even Gandhi. The filmmakers expertly develop the arc of a man who changed not only a nation but a continent and a world view that showed that peaceful revolt can do what violence and pacifism never could- turn a former enemy into a loving friend. This is a truly enchanting film embracing a true story of a most compelling and wonderfully humane (and hilarious) man who may also be the toughest guy on the planet.

Beautiful Moment's Stunning graphics and breathtaking music. The game is short and I found it very easy, but those problems are completely overshadowed by the amazing storytelling told entirely in verse and the amazing, original ambient that makes the game an immersive experience. The story may be called clichè, but it's actually inspired by the original fairytales, so it obviously uses a lot of fairytales tropes.

A Showcase of Courage and Humanity "Children of the Light" is an amazing journey that chronicles and contextualizes perspective and wisdom vitally relevant in these difficult times. Desmond Tutu's courage and humanity inspired Dawn Engle and Ivan Suvanjieff to create Peace Jam and through this work, he has touched millions more lives in a profoundly important way. Thank you for this film. Thank you for your contribution to Peace Jam. Don McVie Publisher, Mississauga Media Inc. Mississauga, Ontario Canada

A moving and compelling story Desmond Tutu's story is moving and compelling. Watching him grow as a young boy into an international peace activist has inspired me to become a better me, but not for me, for my neighbors, my family, my friends, and people across the world whom I have yet to meet. HIs passion bleeds through the film and his voice touches my heart.
Everyone should watch this film to be inspired... at how freedom, truth, and forgiveness really will overcome oppression and evil. We watch humanity at the tipping point during apartheid. The lessons from Desmond Tutu are timeless and will lead humanity closer toward true compassion. If you feel like there is no hope left, Desmond Tutu will show you there is always hope!
"Children of the Light" is a gift! "Children of the Light" is a gift to everyone who sees it. We are invited into Archbishop Tutu's life story and experience the immediacy of his passion for justice and love for all of us, no matter who we are, or what we've done in this world for good or bad. This film brings us face to face with this man who inspires each and every one of us to make a difference for someone else in our world, and to think that way each and every day.

Never accept injustice as a given A powerful example for everyone who thinks that they cannot change political or economic injustice, get political leaders to solve conflicts without violence and their current governments to change their ways and ensure equality, justice, and peace for all their citizens rather.

It also provides a road map for making the changes you want to see in the world today! If this humble soul can do it, so can every one of us - young and old!

Start curious and leave inspired A portrait that brings to life an icon, a legend -- to some, even a mythical character. ‘Children of the Light’ allows you to feel the radiation of Tutu’s optimism, the energy in the rhythm of his speaking and the undeniable momentum of his attitude. You’ll start this one curious and leave inspired.

Forks Over Knives
What has happened to us? Despite the most advanced medical technology in the world, we are sicker than ever by nearly every measure.
Two out of every three of us are overweight. Cases of diabetes are exploding, especially amongst our younger population. About half of us are taking at least one prescription drug. Major medical operations have become routine, helping to drive health care costs to astronomical levels. Heart disease, cancer and stroke are the country's three leading causes of death, even though billions are spent each year to "battle" these very conditions. Millions suffer from a host of other degenerative diseases.
Could it be there's a single solution to all of these problems? A solution so comprehensive but so utterly straightforward, that it's mind-boggling that more of us haven't taken it seriously?
FORKS OVER KNIVES examines the profound claim that most, if not all, of the so-called "diseases of affluence" that afflict us can be controlled, or even reversed, by rejecting our present menu of animal-based and processed foods. The major storyline in the film traces the personal journeys of a pair of pioneering yet under-appreciated researchers, Dr. T. Colin Campbell and Dr. Caldwell Esselstyn.
