Love IT! As the many Justice League series & feature length animated movies go this is 1 of my very favorite. A basic JLA origins story with Darkseid as the villain invading/enslaving the earth's population as the catalyst that brings the Major Player's of the DC world together in the combined interest of kicking major alien butt! The best portrayal of Superman, Green Lantern, & Captain Marvel(Why they decided to call Captain Marvel "SHAZAM" instead of explaining that he received his powers from a wizard named "SHAZAM" is beyond me, but it's neither here nor there.) ever!

Predictable The characterization is typical DC fodder when you have Batman and Superman in a feature. All the other characters were boring. Oh yeah, Hal breaks his arm again! It seems the writers in DC have a fascination to break his arm. Shazam, WW and GL were out of key. Not really captivating and creative. It seemed more Marvel than DC. Nothing special and same DC formula.

Bad start, Good ending... The introductions to cyborg brought this film back. Cyborg is definitely a rising star in the D.C Universe. The surprise ending made this film even more valuable. The Young Justice League is what I have my eyes on and the potential new characters they might pull into the forefront.

DC's Avengers: Animated Mayhem Earlier works are better, but DCU: Justice League: War isn't bad by any means.//// The characters seem more in line with "the New 52" versions and not the characters as you may be used to seeing.//// I found the characters much more like a bunch of teens in adult bodies (kinda like Shazam). The humor was better than earlier DC productions, but I agree with others who comment that this production feels more like Marvel than DC.//// The action is probably far more intense than most animations with WW kicking more butt than anyone really. GL is once again treated as puny. He often comes off as more like a comic-relief side-kick despite being a galaxy-level protector with power beyond all the others. When will he ever be more than 2nd string to Superman? //// Batman does his dark thing as normal, but for once doesn't have all the answers. Cyborg is pretty awesome. Shazam is funny. Flash throws a few punches the way you'd expect but don't get to see often.//// A good DC Universe answer to the Avengers which is about what this is more or less based on, at least, in terms of the overall plot.

Best animated Dc movie ever This movie is beyond amazing!! I watched it 4 times . I don't understand the haters ,if you hate dc so much than stop watching their movies and reading the comics altogether. And Dc animated movies were NEVER MEANT FOR CHILDREN. Of course theirs going to be cuss words in it. Stop complaining about it . Seriously everyone can cuss all the want even in a movie. Don't complain on a animated movie with its cussing

Action A/Story...not so much!! The action was enjoyable in this movie but not R-rated like Flashpoint which prevented an A+. Story was pretty basic. A bunch of hero's with super egos and who overly rely on their powers meets avg. joe Batman. Since Bats has no powers he is the only one who thinks. Darkseid shows up, they get pummeled by Darkseid, teamwork ensues against Darkseid, blah blah blah, they win...THE END!!

Great movie but... What is up with DC heroes always needlessly destroying buildings and thus lives to take out the bad guys?? They seem to always do more harm then good. The story is simple and the film is based around action. Nothing wrong with that. Nice seeing the birth of Cyborg as well. But he adapted way to easily. This is basically the Avengers movie in animated form with DC heros and less story. But still fun to watch.

Light on story, heavy on action This was pretty much over an hour of mayhem and carnage. Not joking. The violence was less graphic/brutal compared to The Flashpoint Paradox, but the narrative left a lot to be desired. Despite that, the animation and action sequences were more than enough to keep me locked in and entertained. Seriously, the action is absolutely bonkers... pretty much reaches Man of Steel levels in animated form. The writing/dialogue was underwhelming as a whole, but the banter between GL and Batman was funny, and Shazam had some choice one-liners. I'm pretty big on Wonder Woman and she is an absolute badass in this one. While I wasn't a fan of her voice acting, I loved her new getup and the way she was depicted in combat. I can't really compare this movie to Justice League: Origin as I haven't read that graphic novel, but overall it's a great entry to the DCAU (but definitely not the best) and highly recommended if you're looking for something with non-stop action.
Needed more time This is probably the best animated DC film after Flashpoint Paradox. It has a lot of great things going for it, a surprisingly well-placed cast of voice actors, great animation style, and a great story to draw from. The only place where this film falls short is in its pacing and short run time. It needed more time to build up to the action heavy climax. The ending felt rushed, and with it so did the character development and the formation of the team. But even with that flaw this movie is great.

Best League Movie so far. Has similar handicaps as most of the previous Justice League movies. They try their best to balance it out every time, but this time, Wonder Woman comes out at top, without giving anything away. Although i have noticed they bash on Superman quite often. Instead of being the wonder boy we all remember and love, his handicap in this movie is his ego. As with most previous movies, they eventually tone it down or remove it by the end of the film. The other heroes have similar handicaps that prevents them from being the main heroes in this movie, but they give them a boost so they can show their abilities better. Like Green Lantern, doesn't it look like a similar move from the online game Infinite Crisis? Overall, i like the story line. The battles scenes are epic and youll laugh your head off when you see Wonder Woman and Shazam arguing.

Very Entertaining I'll get the bad out the way. I don't care much for the art style of batman in this and wonder woman could have been more interesting instead of such simple lines like a female version of Thor. Otherwise I loved the banter between heroes, the action was great, voice acting was decent (thank god), I even enjoyed the overall art style. I wish the story lasted longer to truly flesh out darkseid character and make the battle feel more epic.

Major Letdown I'm a huge fan of the work done by the folks at WB's DC Animation, they consistently turn out great videos that in many cases exceed their comic inspiration (The Flashpoint Paradox was positively sublime). It is because of this strong track record that it makes stomaching JL: War so much more difficult. The voice acting is incredibly uninspired. I'll lay blame for that at the feet of the casting director as Andrea Romano has never failed at getting good performances from a myriad of casts over the years. The story is virtually non-existent, in that way it mirrors the comic a bit too closely, more liberties should have been taken to flesh things out a bit more. Even the action was uninspiring, I mean how long can we watch the team bounce off Darkseid? Speaking of Darkseid, was Andre Braugher not available? In a film filled with mediocre voice acting, the part of Darkseid stands out as by far the worst. Very disappointed.

The Super Seven! This movie was awsome! I didn't read the comic, but I know they had Aquaman in it. He was about the only thing missing, which is weird considering he would have fit in pretty well since it took place in a coastal city. This goes great with the continuity of The New 52, as it seems a lot has changed about the origins. P.S. It feels like Darkseid was much less powerful than his post-crisis form.

Very Enjoyable They do a great job introducing characters without feeding you tons of back story. It's the New 52 storyline. It's got little jokes and jabs throughout to keep it fun. The animation is great and easy to watch. The voice actors did a great job. I'd have a tough time finding something to say I didn't like about this movie, besides Cyborg's look... But that's just the New 52 style. My fiancé enjoyed it a lot too.

DC sinking low For awhile, DC animation was kicking butt and releasing amazing stories. The DC animation was even better than the comics. 'War' has little character and a lot of explosions. The new 52 is trying to be edgy, but goes over it. There are 80's action movies with better plot and characters.

Surprisingly good movie The main stars are not quite what you expect... Besides Batman of course. There personalities are not shaped into what we have come to expect or anticipate. The leading man or woman swaps here and there to give different perspectives. Good jokes and great action... I mean nonstop. Rent at the very least if you are comic fan. Plus Cyborg served a part which nice and the his body/tech works is awesome as well

And People Complain About MoS Man of Steel, a comic book movie, gets so much flack for all the mayhem and destruction. But nobody complains about it in a comic book cartoon. Having said that, it was OK. The characters could have been better fleshed out and while I'm not a comic reader I now understand the complaints about the New 52.
