Tarot
Some say that a great and ancient wisdom is hidden in the mysterious images of the Tarot deck. That it is the sole surviving remnant from the great libraries of ancient Egypt. This may just be a romantic delusion as others say it originated in northern Italy during the early 15th century for a card game called triumphs. However, recent research shows that Tarot cards may indeed have a mysterious origin and may well have been intended as more than a simple game. There may indeed be ancient wisdom hidden in the mysterious images of the Tarot deck.
In Search of the Great Beast 666: Aleister Crowley
One of the most controversial and mysterious characters of the 20th Century is Aleister Crowley; infamously known as "The Wickedest Man in the World." His outrageous exploits captured the attention of the media and ire of the people who understood him the least. This vivid portrayal unearths the barely believable and shocking facts surrounding this infamous Occultist, Spy, Poet, Dark Magician, Hedonist, Writer and accomplished Mountaineer.
Korengal
Korengal picks up where Restrepo left off; the same men, the same valley, the same commanders, but a very different look at the experience of war. Korengal explains how war works, what it feels like and what it does to the young men who fight it. As one soldier cheers when he kills an enemy fighter, another looks into the camera and asks if God will ever forgive him for all of the killing he has done. As one soldier grieves the loss of his friend in combat, another explains why he misses the war now that his deployment has ended, and admits he would go back to the front line in a heartbeat. Every bit as intense and affecting as Restrepo, Korengal goes a step further in bringing the war into people's living rooms back home.
Bully
More than 13 million American kids will be bullied this year, making it the most common form of violence experienced by young people in the nation. BULLY, one of the most buzzed about documentaries in recent years, brings a human scale to this startling statistic, offering an intimate, unflinching look at how bullying has touched five kids and their families. Filmed over the course of the 2009/2010 school year, BULLY opens a window onto the pained and often endangered lives of bullied kids, revealing a problem that transcends geographic, racial, ethnic and economic borders.

When the Checks Stop Coming In
When the Checks Stop Coming In is a candid investigation into the lives of black celebrities as they fall from fame and fortune to downright broke. It’s the life of a celebrity. One minute you are singing to an audience of thousands, playing to an arena of screaming fans, or performing on television for millions of viewers. The accolades are coming fast and furious and the money is pouring in. You think that the dream that you're living is never going to end, but then you wake up one day and all your money and your livelihood is gone. Your worst nightmare has come true and you're broke, the groupies are gone and the lifestyle has dried up.
Even the most seasoned and celebrated have lost it all. The list of celebrities gone broke includes Toni Braxton, Antione Walker, TLC, Wesley Snipes, Allen Iverson, MC Hammer, Dennis Rodman… it goes on and on. Moguldom Studios interviews celebrities, managers, agents, and their financial advisors to learn how much was being spent and how these celebs spared no expense for the glitz and glamour that was their ultimate demise.
This documentary looks behind the curtain and into the lives of black celebrities to find out how they got into financial trouble and what advice they would give to others in hindsight. Be it lavish lifestyles, poor financial management, child support, or tax evasion, When the Checks Stop Coming In explores how these celebrities perpetuate an underlying issue within the African American community: An obsession with the American dollar.
Italy's Mystery Mountains
From PBS - Italy's Mystery Mountains explores the fascinating geologic story of Italy, the land known for its fabulous art, fantastic food, opera, the dolce vita, and so much more. What’s less known about Italy is the diversity and turbulence of the geology behind all of this abundance: the continuously erupting volcanoes, the violent earthquakes, the clash of mighty tectonic plates, and the rising of the mountains from which Michelangelo sourced his famous marbles.
Bottoms Up
On the surface, "Bottoms Up" is a documentary film that examines the newest booming trend in aesthetic surgery -- big butts. Placed under a microscope, the film explores the media's impact and other societal pressures that have propelled big butts from a cult fetish to a mainstream phenomenon. With an influx of new "it" girls from Kim Kardashian to Nicki Minaj, the images are inescapable. Women have taken drastic -- and often dangerous -- measures to achieve the impossible and often unreal.
Is bigger always better? When it comes to breasts and lips, the answer has been yes -- with thousands of women going under the knife each year in search of augmented features. In recent years, the focus has shifted from breasts downwards, towards other ass-ets. In fact, in 2013, the number of butt augmentations increased by 58%.
The film doesn't just point the finger at women and the media, as men have played an equally important role. From Sir Mix-a-Lot, whose 1992 hit "Baby Got Back," sensationalized round posteriors "I like big butts and I cannot lie" to new artists like 2Chainz "She got a big butts so I call her big booty", it is men who actively pursue women with this new fetishized feature.
So who is to blame -- the media? Men? Women? "Bottoms Up" offers different perspectives on this new issue. Jam-packed with commentary from plastic surgeons, women who desperately long for larger ones, and men who want a little more than a handful, the film takes a look at booties from every angle.

Enemy of the Reich: The Noor Inayat Khan Story
From PBS - Enemy of the Reich: The Noor Inayat Khan Story brings to life the story of a woman’s extraordinary courage, tested in the crucible of Nazi-occupied Paris. With an American mother and Indian Muslim father, Noor Inayat Khan was an extremely unusual British agent, and her life spent growing up in a Sufi center of learning in Paris seemed an unlikely preparation for the dangerous work to come. Yet it was in this place of universal peace and contemplation that her remarkable courage was forged. In early 1943, Khan was recruited as a covert operative into Winston Churchill's Special Operations Executive (SOE). Churchill’s orders: to “Set Europe ablaze”. After the collapse and arrest of her entire network, Khan became the only surviving radio operator linking the British to the French Resistance in Paris, coordinating the airdrop of weapons, explosives, and agents and supporting the rescue of downed Allied fliers. Betrayed by a French collaborator after four months, Khan resisted brutal interrogation by the Gestapo, escaping twice—only to be recaptured and sent to Germany where, at last, she was executed at Dachau.
