Nigel Floyd
Marshall's adrenalin-fuelled skill and enthusiasm propel the action forward with reckless abandon.
David Fear
Marshall's mash note to '80s postapocalyptic action-adventures re-creates the era's trashy pleasures with such scrupulous fidelity -- and distinct lack of irony -- that you'd swear the movie was...
Gregory Kirschling
[Director] Marshall cribs whole sections from other movies (Aliens and The Road Warrior, most blatantly) so baldly that you have to wonder how he'd like it if someone ripped off The Descent this...
Jim Ridley
I still believe with all my heart that no movie with real car stunts, a tough-chick hero, and a severed head that thunks directly into the camera can be all bad. But this is pushing it.
David Hiltbrand
Most fantasy-action films blow their budgets in the first half-hour, and limp home with their makeup smeared. Doomsday is unusually patient, smartly saving most of its fireworks for the later innings.
Philip Marchand
If you can accept this farrago of nonsense, and enjoy simulated beheadings and lopped-off hands and massive spurts and splashes of blood, this may be the movie for you.

Love it I played the game as a kid and loved it. The movie actually has a scene in it where the main character, Reaper, goes into a first person shooter mode and the movie becomes very similar to the original game play. If you like zombies, The Rock, and Doom the video game, you should watch this movie at least once.
Horrible & Disgusting One of the worst movies I've ever seen.

Now Cobb is being offered a chance at redemption. One last job could give him his life back but only if he can accomplish the impossible--inception. Instead of the perfect heist, Cobb and his team of specialists have to pull off the reverse, their task is not to steal an idea but to plant one. If they succeed, it could be the perfect crime. Pacific Rim (2013)
When legions of monstrous creatures, known as Kaiju, started rising from the sea, a war began that would take millions of lives and consume humanity's resources for years on end. To combat the giant Kaiju, a special type of weapon was devised: massive robots, called Jaegers, which are controlled simultaneously by two pilots whose minds are locked in a neural bridge. But even the Jaegers are proving nearly defenseless in the face of the relentless Kaiju. On the verge of defeat, the forces defending mankind have no choice but to turn to two unlikely heroes—a washed up former pilot (Charlie Hunnam) and an untested trainee (Rinko Kikuchi)—who are teamed to drive a legendary but seemingly obsolete Jaeger from the past. Together, they stand as mankind's last hope against the mounting apocalypse.
