Interesting story, less than stellar fights. Dragon is one half detective story and one half martial arts film. If you're looking for non-stop fighting scenes, this won't be the film for you. The few fighting scenes that are featured are well choreographed, but they lack anything special that would set them apart from any other martial arts film. The story of Liu Jinxi, a martial artist with a dark past, and Xu Baijiu, an obsessive detective, provide the meat of the film. Liu Jinxi's past is what will keep you watching just to see the mystery unravel. That alone is saves this film from being just another martial arts film.

'Almost', But Fell Apart Halfway Through While the action sequences were pretty great, the plot seemed to fall apart halfway through. There were some real laugh out loud moments when the story just jumped off the track!

Not A Review This isn't a review, more like a question for Google. Why is this film listed in the "Movies Currently In Theaters" section of Google Play? This film came out two years ago, and is definitely not playing in any theaters. That is all.

pretty good The story was interesting. This one is not just about the Kung Fu. I found I was watching more for the drama, than for the action. Some will be mixed on this one, and rightly so, because since it says martial arts most people are going to expect non-stop fighting with little or regurgitated story.

Inglourious Basterds
In the first year of the German occupation of France, Shosanna Dreyfus (Melanie Laurent) witnesses the execution of her family at the hand of Nazi Colonel Hans Landa (Christoph Waltz). Shosanna narrowly escapes and flees to Paris where she forges a new identity as the owner and operator of a cinema. Elsewhere in Europe, lieutenant Aldo Raine (Brad Pitt) organizes a group of Jewish American soldiers to perform swift, shocking acts of retribution. Later known to their enemy as "the basterds," Raine's squad joins German actress and undercover agent Bridget von Hammersmark (Diane Kruger) on a mission to take down the leaders of the Third Reich. Fates converge under a cinema marquis, where Shosanna is poised to carry out a revenge plan of her own.... Employing pulp and propaganda in equal measure, Quentin Tarantino's INGLOURIOUS BASTERDS weaves together infamous, oppressed, real and larger-than-life the stories of WWII.

Amidst the chaos, the hobo comes across a pawn shop window displaying a secondhand lawn mower. He dreams of making the city a beautiful place and starting a new life for himself. But as the brutality continues to rage around him, he notices a shotgun hanging above the lawn mower... Quickly, he realizes the only way to make a difference in this town is with that gun in his hand and two shells in its chamber...
Ong Bak 2: The Beginning
Muay Thai martial arts master Tony Jaa returns to deliver a bone-breaking barrage of knees and elbows in this action opus that finds the star not only delivering blows in front of the camera, but calling the shots behind it as well. Despite the title's indication of this film as a sequel to 2003's Ong-Bak: The Thai Warrior, this movie has no narrative connection to the events of the earlier work, despite the fact that both films star Jaa.

The son of the Pict leader is murdered during the raid, and the Romans find themselves hunted by a seemingly unstoppable group of the Pict's most vicious and skilled warriors, led by a beautiful and deadly tracker (Olga Kurylenko), and hell bent on revenge.
