Evolution is far more entertaining than it deserves to be, unless you're a 10-year-old boy, in which case it's only the greatest movie ever made.
Jennie Punter
There are a few entertaining fight scenes. But there is also uneven CGI, bad dialogue and a host of clichéd moments that make Dragonball Evolution just another disappointing matinee movie.
Tasha Robinson
The film is crammed with treats for old-school Dragonball fans. For everyone else, this amounts to another seen-it-before, probably-willing-to-see-it-again distraction, a passable collection of...
Adam Markovitz
Fans of the best-selling Dragonball comics (and cartoons, and videogames...) might have a shot at untangling the knotty dream-logic that strangles Dragonball: Evolution's live-action adaptation.
Joel Brown
The giddy, anything-goes spirit of Japanese manga comics and Hong Kong martial arts flicks animates Dragonball Evolution. Not enough to make it a good movie, mind you, but enough so you won't hate...
Leigh Paatsch
A hyperactively messy little adventure fantasy in which movement is everything and meaning means nothing.

STUPID, HORRIBLE, TERRIBLE A PIECE OF CRAP This isnt nothing because Goku kiled his Grandpa when he turned into and ape and where is Goku's tail and Goku's first name was Kakarat not when he turns into an ape plus Goku meet Bulma when he was a child and where is Krillin huh if you buy this you're stupid watch the series then and make a remake and where is RR and Goku invented the Kamakamaha moved master roshui didnt teach him

Horrible movie of this classic anime! Do not waste the cash or the download! (you have been warned!) After seeing the final fight seen in the last Matrix movie (where Smith and Neo are going at it in the sky) I thought for sure this DBZ movie would be epic. It failed on SO MANY LEVELS!!! Dragon Tiger Gate was so much better and it was a completely different story! Smh..! I was majorly dissapointed... Bad retelling of Goku's story and no real DBZ fighting! (Not even Kaoken x 10!) Sucked so bad...
LOL FREAKING HORRIBLE!!!!! I have been waiting for a DBZ movie ever since I was in the sixth grade. This movie completely ripped my heart out. The interpretation of the anime in the directors eyes is about as accurate as a communist propaganda film on the origins of America. It's like having himroids on a merry go round, not only is it boring it's insanely painful and with every new bump you ask your self "why am I here? How did I get here and for the love of bacon somebody rescue me!"

Horrible adaptation of the classic franchise. If you are a fan of the beloved Manga or Anime franchise, don't watch this film. It will only serve to awaken your anger. This is one of the worst adaptations of a source material ever put to film. The casting is terrible, the acting is terrible, the story is nothing like the source material it claims to be taken from. This is obviously a cash in, another Hollywood piece of crap that they slapped together and just hoped to make a ton of cash off the brand name. An insult to true fans of the series!

Previews are horrible. This is not dragonball! Dragging slow zzz's!! this is the worst movie ever! And I have watched 1/2 of the stupids with tom Arnold. This preview hurt my head more then the stupids. & I only watched half of the preview. Would have stopped it sooner but phone didn't want to respond. My smartphone lost IQ points after this preview. So horrible. Why would someone do this to an awesome anime classic! Its like showing a movie where superman is trying to save his world from destruction and succeeded. Its a whole other story.

Absolutely the worst As a kid I grew up with Dragonball and Dragon Ball Z. So my hopes for this were already set at a very high standard. After the opening scene though, I dropped my expectations dramatically and tried to appreciate it as an artists interpretation. Even then I could find nothing to like about this movie. The effects are worse than some low budget YouTube videos, the actors do not portray the characters at all how they're supposed to be, and the lore established here is so far from the original DBZ it hurts.

In short... This motion picture fails to achieve anything of circumstance, other than to insult creator, Akira Toriyama, and a loyal fan base of the Dragonball/Z community. It is a pathetic attempt by director, James Wong, to create and re-brand a beloved manga and anime series for current and future generations that does no justice to the original saga of Son Goku.

Worst movie EVVVVVVEEEERRRR!!!!! This is a disgrace to the entire series! It's so bad it made me want to barf threw my eyes balls! This movie would make blind children cry! Don't buy this movie! If u do you'll be banginging ur head agaist a wall for hours!Watch the series Before u make a movie.duuuuhhh. I'd like to spit in the directors face.
