A warning about the threat in our own backyard -- but as often is the case with Hollywood blockbusters, the warning comes across more like fear-mongering than constructive social criticism. Personally, I prefer my cinema sans mongering.
Ben Mankiewicz
It's going to make you want to take the batteries out of your cell phone.
Ben Lyons
An intelligent nail biter.
Joshua Rothkopf
To call Eagle Eye derivative is an understatement; the greater sin is how snoozy this Spielberg-produced anxiety drama feels, even with all sorts of objects flying toward your head.
Calvin Wilson
What's galling about Eagle Eye is that it could easily have been an entertaining film without constantly yielding to the impulse to blow stuff up.
Peter Travers
Did everyone involved in this botched thriller OD on speed?

But there's also a puppy-dog doesn't-know-any-better enthusiasm to this pacy fluff which means you can't get that worked up at it.

Entertaining, if you can suspend your disbelief. The plot devices are hilariously implausible, as is the omnipotent antagonist, which tends to make it hard to take the plot as seriously as it takes itself, but there's merit here if you're looking for a visually intense thriller and willing to overlook the many great stretches and contortions of reality this film undertakes to achieve its predictable climax.
Love it! Always enjoy this one, even though our tech is no where near doing what this movie suggests.
Another iRobot. The movie is almost the same as iRobot...just minus Will Smith.
Love it!!! Classic Action Film...A must have in the collection!!!
