Nigel Floyd
An overripe mélange of Cronenbergian 'body horror' and alienated Lynchian weirdness.
Robert Koehler
Excision is technically polished juvenilia that provokes without resonance.
Nathan Rabin
Excision is a supremely nasty piece of work in the best way possible.
Noel Murray
This is one of the damnedest "adolescent misfit" movies you'll ever see -- for those who can stomach the splatter, that is.

What a waste of film Not only was this movie horrible, disgusting and terribly acted it was a waste of time and money. I'm a fan of horror movie's but this was just BAD. STINKER ALERT
Michael Wentworth
A Great Film I feel like a lot of the people who commented negatively about this movie don't know the first thing about watching a movie. Look at the depth, the plot behind the story. The meaning behind every detail. It was about a psychologically damaged girl who didn't get much love from her parents. She was never a bad person, she wanted to help. But, while her intentions were good, she ended up doing bad. (Random note: The father is from "Smiley" and I like his character better there, haha.) Getting back on point, it was supposed to be disturbing, "wrong" and bloody. But you saw the life of a psychologically disturbed young girl, who still has a heart of gold. You need to find that silver lining. Especially after she overheard what her mother had said about her; about it being impossible to love her. Regardless of anything, no daughter deserves to hear that. She wasn't a bad person, she had mental issues. And that's why I love this movie. You love her, but you hate her and fear her insanity at times because you don't know what to expect. She doesn't hurt people, but she's smart and focused at what she wants, she knows something's wrong with her. Great film.

Boring Dont know why this is getting such high marks unless everyone in it has rated it a 5. Boring nerd girl has weird hallucinations. Creeps everyone around her out acting like the little girl from the Adams Family, and finally has a flip out gore scene at the VERY END of the movie. Tedious and boring.
Excision I really liked it. It was a nice change from the normal tedious slasher flick. Well worth the $3.99.
I want my $8 back!!!! This movie sucked. It was so incredibly stupid & a waste of not only my money, but my time. The ending was so abrupt, you thought there would be something else added, but nope. I'm really surprised that the person that wrote this movie got it picked up and that a movie studio (or whomever funded the movie) actually gave money for it to be made. It's sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo not worth it. I only say this so you don't waste your money too. Oh, and I give it a 1 out of 5 stars because 1 is the lowest. I think a 1 is way too generous. Thanks!

Let Me In is a haunting and provocative thriller written and directed by Matt Reeves (CLOVERFIELD), based on the best-selling Swedish novel "Let The Right One In" and highly acclaimed film of the same name. Chloë Grace Moretz (KICK-ASS) stars as Abby, a mysterious 12-year-old who moves in with a man who appears to be her father (Oscar®-nominee Richard Jenkins of THE VISITOR), next door to Owen (Kodi Smit-McPhee of THE ROAD), a social outcast who is viciously bullied at school. In his loneliness, Owen forms a profound bond with his new neighbor Abby, but can't help noticing that she is like no one he has ever met before. As a string of grisly murders grips his wintry New Mexico town, Owen has to confront the reality that this seemingly innocent girl may not be what she seems.

In Fear

This critically acclaimed Sundance breakout is hailed as one of the best horror films of the year. Tormented by an unknown entity, a young couple fights to survive a road trip-turned-nightmare when they're trapped in a claustrophobic backwoods maze on a dark road. On one of their first dates, Tom (Iain De Caestecker of TV's AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D) and Lucy (Alice Englert of BEAUTIFUL CREATURES) drive to a music festival in a remote countryside village. But when they leave the main road to look for their hotel they quickly become hopelessly lost. Misleading road signs send them in circles and soon night sets in. As their anxiety escalates they discover they are not alone, and this sadistic game spirals into a white-knuckle ride for survival. Costars Allen Leech (TV's DOWNTON ABBEY, THE IMITATION GAME).
Nothing Left to Fear
Horror
3
The first film from music icon Slash (of Guns N' Roses fame) and the latest from the producers of THE EYE and THE RING, NOTHING LEFT TO FEAR is based on the true-life demonic folklore of Stull, Kansas. Wendy (Emmy®-Nominee Anne Heche of TV's HUNG) and Dan (James Tupper of TV's REVENGE) move their family from the big city to a sleepy Kansas town and take over preaching duties from retiring Pastor Kingsman (Clancy Brown of TV's SLEEPY HOLLOW). Unbeknownst to them, their new home is actually one of the seven known gateways to Hell. The family's quiet new beginning is savagely derailed by a charismatic but emotionally conflicted man of the cloth. Directed by the protégé of Oscar®-Winner Gore Verbinski, this heart-pounding thriller costars Ethan Gregory Peck (THE SORCERER'S APPRENTICE).
Frozen
Horror
3
Critics have called it "OPEN WATER on a ski lift" and "JAWS in the snow." It remains perhaps the most intense and terrifying film of 2010: As Sunday evening falls, three snowboarding friends decide to take one last run down the slope. Halfway up the mountain, their chair lift stops, the lights go out, and the resort closes for the week. They are stranded, but the worst is still to come. A storm is approaching. Frostbite is setting in. And on the ground below them, a pack of hungry wolves have gathered to wait. Kevin Zegers (DAWN OF THE DEAD, WRONG TURN), Shawn Ashmore (X-MEN, THE RUINS), and Emma Bell star in the relentlessly chilling thriller from writer/director Adam Green (HATCHET) that Harry Knowles of Ain't It Cool News hails as "a vicious, scary and horrifying experience...FROZEN is a howling good time!"
