Owen Gleiberman
Imagine two movies plucked from opposite sides of the video store.
Todd McCarthy
A deliriously trashy, exuberantly vulgar, lavishly appointed exploitation picture, this weird combo of road-kill movie and martial-arts vampire gorefest is made to order for the stimulation of teenage boys.
Jonathan Rosenbaum
On a mindless exploitation level this is pretty good, but on other levels it seems to make promises that it fails to deliver on.
Hal Hinson
A tired, humorless pastiche of various exploitation genres that is not the least bit imaginative in its campy deconstruction of conventions.
Rodriguez has a lot of fun dreaming up cool ways to kill people (he's making this his life's work), but he also gets something resembling a performance from Tarantino and transforms Clooney into a full-fledged movie star.
Janet Maslin
Mr. Rodriguez demonstrates his talents more clearly than ever -- he's visually inventive, quick-witted and a fabulous editor -- while still hampering himself with sophomoric material.

The picture shows what happens when a writer (Tarantino) and a director (Rodriguez) come together and reinforce each other's worst tendencies and misconceptions.

Amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!! Its one of my favorite movies! It's some of the most that you'll have watching a movie! It's especially fun to watch on Beggar's Night & Halloween night, with popcorn & drinks! It's fun, stylish, creative, clever, cool, exciting, entertaining, thrilling, and also a little bit scary, and funny!!!!!!!!

"From Dusk Till Dawn" - YOU... be cool! Robert Rodriguez has put a dent on pop culture, and has redefined our generation's genre.. When him and Quentin Tarantino (who has also changed cinema as we know it over and over and OVER again) partnered up to break the rules of tone and film making while showing the world what would happen when you dip into mesoamerican, Aztec and Mayan mythologies with vampires.. The result, "From Dusk Till Dawn." .. YOU.. be cool!
Totally love this movie! Selma can snake dance on my table any time! lol

Saw V

Jigsaw (Tobin Bell) might be dead, but his traps live on in this fifth Saw entry, which finds the series' production designer David Hackl at the helm for his debut directing gig. Costas Mandylor reprises his role as Hoffman, the detective whose involvement in the string of grisly murders turns out to be more than meets the eye. Picking up where the fourth entry left off, Hoffman is revealed to be a hidden accomplice in Jigsaw's grisly games of death, which look to be continued by the lawman. The plot bounces back and forth from the beginning of their relationship to the present, as Agent Strahm (Scott Patterson) delves farther into the case. Also in the cast are Dexter's Julie Benz and One Missed Call's Meagan Good as victims of another one of Jigsaw's lessons in morality. Saw IV scribes Patrick Melton and Marcus Dunstan return to pen the screenplay for the Twisted Pictures/Lionsgate co-production.
