Frozen reminds you how many animated films rely more on inside jokes. It's modern without being hip, earnest with being sappy.
Anthony Lane
Extravagant care is taken with minutiae, and the directors, Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee, whistle through the first twenty minutes of the plot with a controlled giddiness that would leave many...
Joe Morgenstern
If you thought there was only so much to be done with ice and snow as visual fields, think again along the lines of prismatic crystals, epic storms and fantastical structures built on water's gift...
Catherine Bray
Frozen' has both showtunes and darkness, but most satisfying is a formula-defying finale that successfully subverts the fairytale status quo.
Peter Travers
In a year of weak animated features, Frozen - loosely based on "The Snow Queen" - takes the lead by default.
Adam Nayman
It's hard to generate a sense of warmth when the plot points all feel so coldly calculated, and it doesn't help that the musical numbers are so pedestrian.

Frozen is one of the few recent films to capture that classic Disney spirit.
User reviews
the movie is amazing, but google play SUCKS!!!!! The movie is absolutely fantastic; the singing, acting and animation are just so beautiful! it definitely deserves the two Oscars and golden globes that it won. my only problem is the fact that i can't get it on my computer! I bought the movie, why can't i do whatever i want with it, like transfer it from my google play account to my computer?!? then there is the fact with my phone; i can "pin" it to my device so i can watch it without wifi but that is just it! i only have it on my phone so i can use it without wifi!!! and when i "pinned" it to my phone, it used up half my memory! HALF!!!!! my advise, get this movie some other way because this is just stupid and annoying and not worth anyone's time!!!

Frozen, Thanks for the best way for you to know that I have been a lot more than just the right place to live with the same time as a friend. You will need a new study of the most important part in this email, or the other hand I was wondering how much I can get it. I have been in the morning and FOR THE movie! it was a Great a little bit more than one I was wondering

ABSOLUTE BULLSHIT THE WHOLE REASON I BOUGHT DIGITAL COPY WAS FOR THE SPECIAL FEATURES. GUESS I SHOULD HAVE WENT WITH iTUNES OR AMAZON SINCE BOTH OF THEM ACTUALLY PROVIDE THE SPECIAL CONTENT!!!!!!! NOT GOOGLE!!!!!!! GOOGLE YOU ARE EVIL AND WORTHLESS! AVOID GOOGLE PLAY LIKE THE PLAGUE! A BILLION DOLLAR INDUSTRY WHO SAYS "SORRY, NOTHING WE CAN DO" WHEN YOU CALL AND ASK THEM TO MAKE A SITUATION RIGHT! (movie is great, though -- just google sucks)
Really Good I think it is a little sad with a happy ending it makes sense that Elsa is sad of what she did to Anna and I think it is a great movie I am so excited that it is coming out March 15th and it is a really good in movie. I was crying in the part where Anna froze. It really let my emotions out of myself. Olaf was really funny even for a snowman and he was very funny in the song summer. The song that Elsa sang let it go I had to get on my computer and sing it I just had to get the barbies Anna Elsa & Kristoff.

Holy Moly Best Disney Movie YET!!!!!!!!!!!!!! wow. i can't even discribe how good dis movie was doe. the story was heartbreaking but at least u can a bit of laughter from Olaf :P Once i saw that trailer, i friggin' ask my dad right after i saw that trailer."Dad? Can I get that super cool movie?" after i watched that. i was mindblown. i even think i can buy this but i dont know if the google play movie thing is that good. but u can already see...... I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!

Best. Disney. Movie. Ever. When Anna got her memory that Elsa had powers taken and Elsa shut her out ever since was great. When Hans just wanted the throne even after him and Anna sang the song was unbelievable. At the end I was thinking '' If an act of true love is the antidote then Christoph has to do it'', but when Elsa did the act I was like HOLY $#!^. I know that no one was expecting that. The only thing I would change is if we were told how Elsa even got her powers, but other than that the movie was incredibly outstanding.

Entertaining This has got to be the cutest, funniest, most entertaining animated movie ever! Elsa would be my favorite character because she tries to make things safe for the people of Arendelle by leaving the kingdom due to her dangerous ice curse. Sad in the beginning when the king and queen die, though.

Outstanding Disney Musicale I was talking about fairy tale criticising Smaug - this cartoon IS a fairy tail. Whimsical, beautiful and with classically-great disney songs. Worth watching, worth listening. Loved it! P.S. had to adjust my 4 star to 5 star rating after watching the movie ~ 90 times (my daughter's favorite, so not only we WATCH it, sing all the songs, we actually are playing it as well). Waiting for the Broadway show to come up...
Great story, People said that it has too much singing, the singing is what makes frozen memorable, btw, all the other Disney movies have the prince save the princess, this is about family. All the characters are important. Why would you give it a 4 because you don't like the Prince? The Prince is bad, why would you like him? My favorite movie, B-) how could you hate it? What was that thing about sins??? I I love it though!!!!!!! But, I'm getting a disk! :-) watch it, bye it, love it! Keep calm, and watch Frozen!!!!

Where is my movie? I purchased this movie for my daughter and spent $20. We managed to watch it completely once and when we tried to restart it, it would only allow us to watch 4-5 minutes of it; 15 minutes if we're lucky. Of course, I thought it was because of the internet connection then that would be my fault. However, I tried watching it once again with my daughter at a public library where I've never once had a problem with the internet and it wasn't letting me see a minute of it at all. Is this a glitch or what?
I wish I can give it 5 stars but I cannot. 1. I hate how much this movie costs. 2. They sing waaaaaaaay too much. 3. Some elements from Tangled are repeated. 4. I do like the animation. 5. Why Elsa having the power of snow, why not Anna? Seriously, why the older one having the power? WHY(sorry for spoiling the movie)!!!!!!!! 6. Why does it have to be TRUE LOVE to break the spell? But I like how it was sister true love instead of man and woman true love. 3***'s end of discussion! One more thing! I hate the fact that the first songs tells you about the whole movie!
