Garbage. Did they even play the games? These "prestigious anime studios" took what was already a good, realistic, interesting mythos and just decided they were going to just make up their own sh**. There were two relatively good episodes, the rest were just ridiculously goofy or tried to be serious and instead just butchered it with all kinds of anime cliches and poor filmmaking techniques in general. And to add insult to injury, in "The Package"(which was supposed they had Halsey be this young, big-titted Japanese chick who just spouted off '

The anime style handled the content poorly. Mediocre to poor story lines and in some cases animation styles completely outside cannon. I'm sorry, but a SPARTAN doing the "manga frustration dance" pulls me right out of the story. My daughter and I checked out half-way in. Pass on this video collection and read some of the books for extended world experience.

Amazing I love the unique style of story telling and different animation techniques of each episode, specially the water color style one.
Patrick Torello
Amazing Personally it had it's problems like even the games do but it overall added on to the halo experience and story in a way that was touching and inspirational. Like all halo lore is.
Gerald McCurdy
All Around This movie was out of the box all around it had different mixes of anime in it like DBZ, Naruto, By Gundam etc. It didn't feel like halo it me only when they showed the chief himself I'm glad I rented this movie

It's worth it if you're a halo fan. I bought this in 2010 when it came out on blu-ray. I love halo and being able to delve deeper into the mythology that makes it expand it's amazing. The books started me loving it more and I will for sure be getting forward unto dawn when it drops with halo 4.
Haha good but not as great. I really enjoyed watching, its more of a rental than buying it.
Enjoyed it very much! Intense and heavy themes of the human spirit. I wish some of the shorts were full on featured movies. Last short was the weakest...but everything else was superb.
Very good If ur a super big halo fan like moi you may want to buy it. I satched for free I think on youtube.
