Tom Huddleston
No one does saccharine like Adam Sandler. The man can be sharp, angry and funny - but when he lays on the sweetness, it's like drowning in an avalanche of Tate & Lyle.
Nell Minow
The 3-D adds a vertiginous thrill to a chase on flying tables and a touch of claustrophobia to a maze of underground corridors.
James Berardinelli
Not since Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein have the great Universal monsters been subjected to such dismal treatment.
Stephen Whitty
Even the animation is ugly.
Alonso Duralde
Hotel Transylvania may lack the emotional oomph of Pixar's best efforts, but it makes up for it with rapid-fire gags and an unflagging pace that makes this a rare all-ages treat.
Julie Hart
I like it. Predicable- however, the charming characters kept me in my seat & I was encouraged. No Belly Laughs BUT several chuckles and "awhh!"'s; at least in the first part. It is very hard to believe the same people, who after saving a predictable plot with quick witted and fun characters would then turn around and with malice-of-foresight suck out all personality like a starving vamp. Really. Unfortunately the last 15 minutes is 'watching-water-boil' boring. Still a charmer to begin with.

It was okay... Perhaps as a kid film, yeah sure funny I guess. In the grand scheme of things though, it could've been a /lot/ better. I mean come on, that's the wrong way to try to appeal to the 'goth crowd'. If you like cheesy movies, this is the right one for you, if not you'll be rolling your eyes and headdesking around the end when it starts to get really awkward and uncomfortable to watch due to the cliché and cheese oozing from the scenes. It started off really interesting though, I wish they got more into the lore.
Awesome. Best movie of monsters.(except Monster High!) I totally love this movie it is really cool. I really like the little werewolves. This is such a good movie. It is little scary with the zombie villagers part. But other than that it is great! This is for 3 and up. And try it on TV it is totally awesome. Watch and have fun everyone! But if you're not getting it right now then it doesn't show up on My Wish list.

Pretty Good This movie was pretty good, I expected a little more but I did enjoy it anyway. It was a little rushed but, being a children's movie, I don't think the kids will notice it's faults. The synopsis given with the movie here is just totally off, though. It doesn't reflect the actual plot (It's almost like whoever wrote the synopsis just guessed what it was about) but still a pretty good movie to pass the time. The best part is the Werewolf family, especially the ADORABLE Werewolf pups!
