The FUBAR Review: Too much "film" and not enough skiing I really loved All.I.Can, but this was too much. If I wanted to watch a "film," I would go to a festival, and watch something in black and white with subtitles. As Deaner said in FUBAR "Turn up the good (aka skiing), turn down the suck (aka over the top symbolism and metaphors)." Just my two cents, which is worth about as much... maybe less actually. I'll still rent/buy the next movie from Sherpa, as All.I.Can was that good.

Skip it! One of the worst ski movies I've ever seen. I saw the trailer and thought this looked awesome. Unfortunately, they tried to be artsy, but failed, resulting in a tripy movie full of strange imagery and very little skiing.
Shawn Kelly
Great Follow up Fantastic intro and the cinematography is up to par with All.I.Can definitely worth more than the $10.
Ciprian Chelba
Seems to target the sub-culture of the heli-skiing crowd. The story line was unclear, I suppose the people that this movie targets somehow know the names and feats involved. Impressive showmanship, and imagery otherwise.
Matthew Handley
Incredible, spine tingling film. One of the best ski films/snowboard films ever made.

The Old, The Young, And the Sea

The Old, the Young & the Sea embarks on an adventurous documentary trip along the Atlantic Coast of France, Spain and Portugal. The movie is framing a vivid snapshot of Europe's post-modern coastal culture, which is significantly influenced by the hippie heritage of the 1960s, modern surfing pop-industry and the vital relationship of coastal inhabitants with Mother Nature. The Old, the Young & the Sea introduces the audience into a world of cultural discovery, surprising encounters and the search for the spirit of traveling. The movie begins with elderly gentlemen; pioneers of the 60s and 70s, telling their story on how surf and with it traveling started for them personally and in Europe generally. Modern day camper Milea introduces us to the casual lifestyle of a traveling surfer now, Guilherme and Jonas are determined to become professional surfers later, what Aritz and Tim already are. Kepa and later Clive give us insight into an alternative life dedicated to the sea, Carlos and Francois show us the environmental problems threatening the sanity of our oceans. And there are Garrett and Guillaume - both very different from another -- but both state: Everything is possible if you are willing to take life into your own hands. For all of these characters surfing is a pervading lifestyle. All sorts of ocean lovers all over Europe have their eyes on a very slim stretch of land and water. Documenting this stretch of land The Old, the Young & the Sea captures a schematic picture of vibrant European life through the very personal stories of the movie's protagonists.

Le Mans 2014
Sports

2014 saw the eagerly anticipated return of Porsche to the Le Mans fray. The 919 hybrid looked to add to the legend forged by cars like the 917, 956 and 911. Le Mans in 2014 is a very different proposition to that faced by the Munich company's designers and engineers in 1998 when they last won the historic race outright. Audi, Porsche's stablemate certainly weren't going to hand their hard won LMP1 crown to Porsche without a fight and (relatively) new kids on the block Toyota had their sights firmly set on a first win. In short, Porsche had a heck of a hill to climb. It all made for one of the most thrilling Le Mans 24 races in recent memory and gave the commentary team at Radio Le Mans more than enough subject matter for their marathon efforts. Add in to the mixture a truly exciting LMP2 class and some great racing amongst the GTEs and you've got the perfect recipe for the most prestigious motor race on the calendar. Duke's review features four hours of the best highlights, packed full of close-ups, in car shots, pit lane angles and spectacular (though thankfully not serious) crashes and you've got the best Le mans review of all time. We love it and we hope you do too.

We spent an entire year traveling all over the Southeast filming the wildest show in off-road motor-sports. We followed some the most well known drivers in the sport including Time Cameron, Wes Kean, the Tanners, Brian Cole and many more. The film was shot on location at some of the best Off-Road Parks in the South. These include Gray Rock, Morris Moutain, Crusher Ridge, River Rock & Choccolocco ORV. This isn't rock-crawling as it is known out West. This is Southern Style Wheeling. For our tenth film we wanted to do something special. So all we did was capture our deepest powder ever, expeditions to the most remote mountain ranges, and the steepest spines on the planet. Combined
with the most interesting characters on snow, and our usual low brow humor, and we have a ski movie worthy of our ten years filming the backcountry experience.
Part ski porn, part documentary, this is a full on propaganda piece promoting the joys and wonder of exploring winter on skis and split-board. It’s our business and pleasure to break trail with those who are willing to put in the time, education and respect the mountains deserve and record it for posterity. This year we headed out looking for Some Thing Else, and we found it.
-A last minute dream trip to Hokkaido, Japan with Eric Balken, Will Cardamone, Megan Michelson and Dan Abrams
-A yurt stay in The Beartooth Mountains of Montana with Carston Oliver, Eric Balken, Ben Nobel and Alyssa Larson
-Steep spine clinic with Neil Provo in the Tordrillo Mountains of Alaska
-Phat Camp with Andrew McLean, Thomas Gaisbacher and Noah Howell in the Wrangell St Elias National Park and Preserve
-Paul Kimbrough in the mighty Tetons crusading to resuscitate telemark skiing
-Snowy Mountain Lodge in British Columbia hosts JP Auclair, Kalen Thorien, Ian Provo and Riley Leboe
-A look into the mind and the turns of Freeride World Tour Champion Drew Tabke
-Geoff McAndrews shows us the ups and downs of his world in the Salt River Range of Wyoming
-Carston Oliver and happy fun times jumping crevasses in Alaska
