The wrongs pile up, and there's a clear object of satire. That feels new for the Jackass experience: a target that isn't a crotch. I'd like to see Irv try to strike again with braver gags.
J. R. Jones
Onlookers occasionally glance into the camera, a pretty good sign that people are hip to these prankster movies now and just play along.
Dave McGinn
It's been 11 years since Jackass: The Movie, and three since Jackass 3D, although it feels a lot longer than that.
Linda Barnard
Like the lime-green bingo dabber contents Irving drinks down to the horror of his seatmates, it's an acquired taste.
Peter Travers
It's not really a movie. It's Johnny Knoxville and his Jackass crew faking out real people into believing he's 86-year-old Irving Zisman, an old fart bag traveling cross-country.
Stephen Whitty
Sometimes joy buzzers - and pratfalls, and funny costumes - are really all you need for a laugh or two. Or even a three-star comedy.

A movie that deals with perception This really is quite an entertaining movie unlike other jackass movies this movie feels a lot more with my favorite part of a jackass stunts and that's misperceptions of things. Getting people to believe that he is done sort of old guy is just fantastic. Seeing people's reactions to some of the worst stuff is just funny, I love social experiments and this has it in spades. Very entertaining movie.
Not a bad movie This movie is stupid but yet kinda funny it has a good ending just hate how tha Grampa acts and what he dose I think its stupid how all he thinks about is sex and teaches tha kid wrong thangs and its ridiculous how he keeps his dead wife in his car and takes her every where they go. This movie also teaches men tha wrong thangs I think.
disappointed... i live for jackass but... this.was..horrible? i expected pranks without a storyline.. and i say "storyline" very generously.. you can tell that the majority of the scenes are staged , although they say it's not blah blah.. i expected more if they would have cut out the story line and just had the kid and Johnny run around doing crazy stuff best movie ever.. but it just seems like a waste.. I'm like actually sad.

To funny This movie is the boom I mean u watch it u start laughing automatically I've never seen such a funny people say this is a terrible movie that's not the piont it was made ti make people laugh it's comedy u can't think and then say this movie is terrible u have to actually be happy to be in the mood to laugh and I laughed because im a fun person whether u like it or not the movie was very funny u can state your opinion but know u are wrong bye now I have more to say maybe I mean what I say always

Watered Down Jackass at Best Knoxville stars in this overly scripted comedy which lacks the zany appeal of previous films in the "Jackass Universe." There are some laughs to be had, but most scenes fall flat and wear out their welcome long before they're through. Blame it on a bar set so high by the other films and a lack of supporting cast (Margera, Steve-O, etc.)
