Mediocre and uninteresting JL Adventures tries to harken back to the old days of the Superfriends, with Lex Luthor heading the ol' Legion of Doom. With the recent release of WB animations, the story writing and design direction for JL Adv is several steps back rather than a step forward. This is only intended for those who remember watching Superfriends. Everyone else who have seen the more action-oriented and more involving recent release should avoid this. I give it 3/5 rating since WB/DC is trying to revive that old Superfriends formula. But the execution, story writing, and character design makes it all fall short. If this is going to be a "Justice League Adventures," it should be a TV series rather than a one-shot (with a big implication of a possible sequel).

Interesting The paradox thing has been overdone by DC a bit. Overall good storyline. Voice work could be better, but that would require a better script dialogue.

What Are Your Expectations While there are far better DC animated movies available, this doesn't disappoint. The animation is not as detailed, but the story picks up that dead weight & delivers a solid movie, however short it is. Seemingly it was designed to appeal to a much younger audience than it's counterparts, as titles such as Wonder Woman, The Flashpoint Paradox, & Justice League War are more gritty and complex. I'm more accustomed to the edgier animation & though tis movie is unorthodox of DC, it is still above average.

Its ok for superfriends nostalgia. But with movies like Superman doomsday and Batman under the red hood it's a little less awesome and it misses their atmosphere of gritty storytelling.
