Most of the lessons in Kick-Ass are juvenile, but Lordy are they stylishly told.
Peter Rainer
I found it mighty painful sitting through all the bone crushing and blood-letting.
A.O. Scott
I know it's all supposed to be tongue in cheek and lots of fun, but frankly this turned my stomach.
Anthony Lane
When filmmakers nudge a child into viewing savagery as slapstick, are we not allowing them to do what we condemn in the pornographer -- that is, to coarsen and inflame?
Rick Groen
Kick-Ass is some kind of twisted fun.
Tom Long
Everything you've likely heard about Kick-Ass is true, providing you've heard it's profane, outlandish, ultra-violent, shocking, funny and wildly entertaining.

Nicolas Cage is a hoot, a hollar and a fright as Damon Mac ready, a.k.a. Big Daddy. How can he be otherwise? He's a good cop gone mad.

This movie was MOST awesome Although the actual comic story was waaaaay more graphic, this movie did a decent job telling the story. Actually almost spot on with the comic. It was refreshing, extra violent and true to the way a comic story rolls. Marvel and DC will never be this graphic. Thank you Dark Horse for being true to yourself! This movie is for the true comic fans-all others will just hate coz they just won't get it. JS... Download it.
Don't judge a book by it's cover This movie is actually extremely good through the witty yet immature dry and very dark humor. Kickass is a movie filled with morals and messages in the form of a over the top ultra violent comic book/British mob type film (the director does that kinda movies) I don't know how to explain except you should watch it at least twice to realize it's more than what it seems. Awesome cast and Chloë Grace Moretz (hitgirl) did amazing because she was 11 during filming.
A Teen Movie Masterpiece Its Loud, Stylish and Very Funny, From the Director of X-Men:First Class this is the movie were he first started with superhero movies, Its a thrill ride of sick, satisfying experience since Kill Bill.
Bad assss Enjoyed this. It was worth renting. I recently bought it on blu ray. Worth more than i paid for it. hollywood should have picked it up instead they turned it down. Foolish..
Unexpectedly Awesome 5 stats all the way. Absolutely hilarious and violent with great music as well.
The names says it all. Seriously. If the name draws you to it, you will need to see it before you die or you will always wonder. "What if..." you'll whisper into your pillow as the peace of a night's sleep eludes you, "what if I'd had the courage? "

Ocean's Eleven (2001)
Danny Ocean likes his chances. All he asks is that his handpicked squad of 10 grifters and cons play the game like they have nothing to lose. If all goes right, the payoff will be a fat $150 million. Divided by 11. You do the math. MPAA Rating: PG-13 (c) 2001 Warner Bros. U.S., Canada, Bahama and Bermuda (c) Roadshow all other territories
The Heat
