Todd McCarthy
A strange, fun and densely textured work that gets better as it goes along.
Jonathan Rosenbaum
Even more gory and adolescent than its models, which explains both the fun and the unpleasantness of this globe-trotting romp.
It's all bang, bang; no kiss, kiss. But this is still bravura film-making from a prodigious talent, and Thurman may yet prove its saving grace.
Peter Rainer
There is no ironic overlay in Tarantino's movies, no 'commenting' on the pop schlock he's replicating. He simply wants to remake in his own way the kinds of movies he's always loved, and he's about as uncynical as a movie geek can be.
Andrew Sarris
I would argue that, in a bizarre way, Mr. Tarantino empowers women as no action-genre director before him ever has.
Rick Groen
Simultaneously a spectacular act of movie-making and a slight movie.

Kill Bill is one long yakkety-yak about Tarantino's passions. He's the samurai who won't shut up.

In my top 3 for sure! Say what you want about QT, but he can direct some great films. Kill Bill Vol.1 was incredible! I love the old school martial-arts feeling in the film. Great action, & great performances. Plus, QT knows how to blend blood & violence film without making it to gruesome. I would give Kill Bill Vol.1 a 10/10.
I didn't want it to end! But wait... there was a Part II. But unfortunately that one had to end sometime. Best revenge film of all time. Terrific nods to so many genres it's impossible to list! " Now, let's get these other piggies moving!"
Awesome movie Quentin Tarantino does it again!! Another well written & acted and entertaining film.

The Italian Job (2003)
The plan was flawless. The execution was perfect. Charlie Croker pulled off the crime of a lifetime. The one thing that he didn't plan on was being double-crossed. Now he wants more than the job's payoff...he wants payback. Mark Wahlberg is electrifying as Croker in this "fast and furious action-adventure."* Along with a drop-dead gorgeous safecracker (Charlize Theron), Croker and his team take off to re-steal the loot and end up in a pulse-pounding, pedal-to-the-metal chase that careens up, down, above and below the streets of Los Angeles. With an ensemble all-star cast that also includes Edward Norton, Seth Green, Jason Statham, Mos Def, Franky G and Donald Sutherland, The Italian Job is "Hot!"

Determined to make sure they regret it, Parker tracks them to Palm Beach, playground of the rich and famous, where the crew is planning their biggest heist ever. Academy Award-nominee Gary Oldman, Christian Slater and Dane Cook headline this outrageous action-comedy about greed, revenge, and a desert full of dead Elvis impersonators. A priceless Apache war mask has been stolen from an Indian casino causing criminals, frat boys, tomahawk-wielding hit men, modern-day cowboys, and a six-foot-tall blonde assassin to rampage through a small town in hopes of claiming the treasure first. To Kill a Mockingbird

Gregory Peck won an Oscar for his brilliant performance as the Southern lawyer who defends a black man accused of rape in this film version of the Pulitzer Prize-winning novel. The way in which it captures a time, a place, and above all, a mood, makes this film a masterpiece. The setting is a dusty Southern town during the Depression. A white woman accuses a black man of rape. Though he is obviously innocent, the outcome of his trial is such a foregone conclusion that no lawyer will step forward to defend him except Atticus Finch (Gregory Peck), the town's most distinguished citizen. His compassionate defense costs him many friendships but earns him the respect and admiration of his two motherless children.
