Synopsis

KNIGHTS OF BADASSDOM follows three best friends (Peter Dinklage, Steve Zahn and Ryan Kwanten) and dedicated LARPers (Live Action Role Players) as they take to the woods to reenact a dungeons and dragons-like scenario fresh out of the mythical Middle Ages. Trouble arises after they unwittingly conjure up some serious evil in the form of a blood-lusting Succubus, from the pits of hell. Fantasy and reality collide on the Fields of Evermore in an all-out epic battle of make-believe wizards, demons and assorted mythical creatures. Their courage and friendship is put to the test as they attempt to vanquish the evil they have summoned. Will the group prove to simply be foam sword-wielding LARPers, or true "Knights of Badassdom?"

Amazing! As a RPG player this movie delivers on all the right levels! Just enough cheesy Dialog and comedy combined with some rocking music and decent action sequences. All and all a great movie! Well worth the purchase!

What a wonderful movie - FINALLY I was one of the fans who had been following this movie as it was going through some seriously heinous crimes of red-tape and bait & switch with producers and the like. Regardless, I was very happy with the movie once I was finally able to sit and watch it on-demand. Rock solid story, a killer cast, the special effects were above average, but it was the dialog delivery provided by the actors that really did seal the deal for this movie. This is a great concept movie pointed directly at every level of a gaming target group. If your not a gamer, you might not get all the jokes; I loved the movie and would like to see a sequel.

One Knight is Never enough! Funny, well written, a not to miss film which is leaps and bounds better than the best bad "Sy-Fy TV movie"! I am a 20+ year Member of the Society for Creative Anachronism (Not a LARPer but a Medieval historical re-enactor) and it was nice to see a humorous look at the other side. This offered version should not have been cut/edited so much from what I paid to see of the market screenings. Some o' the Best lines didn't make it to this copy o' the film. Still it Made me yearn for more adventures from these characters!! Well Done!! More more more!!

Funny but Gory I was very entertained by this movie but it has a bunch of glaring plot holes and omissions that frustrated me. In the end, one watch was enough for me.

I enjoyed it verily I watched Knights of Badassdom tonight and I enjoyed it. I think it suffers a bit like The Big Bang Theory in that it makes fun of geeks rather than having a laugh with them, but that didn't stop me from having fun with this movie. The effects are rather Syfy channel but the acting is solid, the story works, the jokes made me chuckle. I like this movie. I'm happy to have seen it.

awesome movie i saw this movie at a screening on Jan 30. i was afraid at first it would look awesome, but not be able to deliver. i was floored by how funny and great this movie is. if anyone finds any sort of joy from renne faire's or LARPing, they should find joy in this movie as well.

Horrible Movie, Not a Comedy! I bought this thinking it was going to be a comedy like the Trailer made it out to be, But instead it was a poorly scripted and Awfully written movie! DON'T WASTE YOU MONEY ON THIS CRAP! Its a Horror flick, Not what the trailer makes it out to be.

Satire by people who love the subject Even better than I expected. Characters were well written and acted to perfection by actors who obviously love the genre. Realistic for anyone who has play LARPs. Amazingly the characters were not stereotypes. Good in every way, and the most metal ending ever.
