Troublesome truths obscured by amateur production. Poorly made but factual account of the Koch brothers interference in our political process. They have some good interviews and do manage to tell the story. The production is high school AV club. I'm sorry to say this in case the producers read this, because it is such a important subject. The music is a major distraction and if it is possible should be removed, even at this late stage. It is Errol Morris in tone but completely divorced from narrative. There is no narrative in this film. There is no beginning, middle or end, just a string of editorializing. I really wish I could recommend this film.

How much money is enough? Seriously, there maybe some stretching of the truth (I didn't see much of that here), but ask yourself how much money would be enough? Millions? Billions? Trillions? If they were above reproach why do we here more and more every day of secret back room deals, or front organizations the brothers use to hide billions of dollars worth of donations in attempts to sway public opinion, elections and to gain political influence? Really, if they want their own country just go buy an island and create one with all the money they have spent trying to manipulate the US government and let others who are interested in seeing this country productively move toward a future where yes you look out for your own happiness and interests, but you don't mind helping each other to achieve that together where we can? It is crazy to say we can't help everyone get basic medical services, that would help with preventative medicine which has been shown can save us money by treating problems before they become so serious as to put someone in a hospital requiring more expensive emergency medical procedures that could have been avoided had they just gotten the basic help beforehand.

Full Of Lies I did a fact check on a lot of the claims. If not outright lies, they stretch the truth WAY farther than an honest person would feel comfortable doing. Do your homework and you will see this movie for what it is, socialist propaganda. Update: To the negative comments about Capitalism. Get a clue. Capitalism is responsible for more poor people becoming comfortable or rich than any system the world has ever seen. Socialism is responsible for more peace time deaths than all of the plagues the world has seen.

Ignore the negative reviews frown Koch flunkies The truths here far outnumber the slight exaggerations. Here's a hint anyone who still believes socialism is evil and capitalism is just....well they're a d*mn fool. Capitalism is the heart of all evil. The rich control all that is worth controlling and they've rigged the system to make sure that never changes and you never EVER acquire the kind of wealth they have.

Needs more points of view They did s great job of showing me how bad the Kochs are but what is the other side of the story this made the movie feel like a movie to persuade people instead ofhis movie did have many a factual documentary. The movie did have many startling facts but the they were presented badly and sometimes the same clips were shown again.

Not balanced, but worth knowing These men are not the nicest guys, and they are ridiculously powerful. They may not be the monsters the far left paint them to be, but there is a lot worth knowing in this documentary if you can think for yourself.
