Bad form WWE Studios I'm okay with the Leprechaun being completely re-imagined to the point of being unrecognizable. What I am not okay with is the lack of teeth that this film shows in the terror of the experience. The tempo of the film is way too slow and flooded with unnecessary transitions that don't drive the story at all. So, that makes this new iteration of the Leprechaun even more uninteresting. I will give the film some credit in the way that the jerk boyfriend is killed (trust me, not a spoiler). I also was mildly amused by the possibly Predator-inspired "Leprechaun vision". The end credit sequence is most likely the MOST POINTLESS and obscenely longest in film history. It's simply not worth the rental. Want to see a better WWE studios horror film? Then wait for SEE NO EVIL 2. The Soska Twins are behind it and that means at least the promise of far better entertainment than what LEPRECHAUN ORIGINS actually delivers.

Makes No Sense!!! Why does the Leprechaun kill anyone in the movie. In the old movies he had the motivation to get its gold back in this one, it kills people for no reason. The people it kills don't even have it's gold. Not to mention it doesn't even act like a leprichaun. No jokes, trickery or magic. It's more like a hairless werewolf with preditor vision.

Not "Leprechaun" Worthy I was hoping this would be somewhat related to the other Leprechauns, but it's not at all. It's just some monster after them, and it doesn't even explain the "origin" part at the very least. Lots of boring screaming and oh no boring typical horror movie stuff. Don't watch it if you're hoping for it to be like the originals. Far from them.

This movie gets an F- I've seen some bad horror films in my time but my god this is one of the absolutely worst horror films I've ever seen. This movie wasn't scary at almost every kill is off camera. On top of that the Leprechaun looks ridiculous. He's not even scary looking!

Don't waste your time I'm a huge leprechaun fan I own the entire collection this one is not even worth me getting. I've been waiting for this movie to release since last year when I finally saw it I was extremely disappointed. At least they did keep it dark but could have been a lot better especially cause two huge companies made it.

This is NOT Leprechaun!!! When I watched the trailer, I actually thought it would be a decent Leprechaun reboot/sequel, there was even the iconic laugh of his in the trailer. But, when I finally watched it, it wasn't a leprechaun, it was just a creature. This movie isn't worthy of holding the title "Leprechaun" and what is with the "Origins" this movie has no general relation with the original! So, in closing, this movie is TERRIBLE, don't watch it!

Absolute disgrace This is an absolutely terrible movie, it took no elements from the old movies at all...in fact it looks more like a alien than a leprechaun...if I could rate -100 stars I would...I recommend no one buy this it's not worth it....now if you'll excuse me I'm gonna watch the original leprechaun movies that are actually worth watching.
Needs new title Decent action going on keeps you watching the whole way. Acting poor, blood and Gore mid level. If you are a fan of Warrick Davis and the original leprechaun movies then don't Rent this. Not at all close to the originals. I'm still tryin to figure out why she didn't take the backpack.
