Dave Calhoun
Niccol is no stranger to hot-button issues, but he outdoes his previous efforts by injecting this satire of war profiteering in the Halliburton age with a wicked arsenic wit.
Stephanie Zacharek
ELord Of War drops the hammer slowly, laying out the fascinating parameters of Cage's world before opening up its argument in an astonishing denouement.
Keith Phipps
Lord Of War drops the hammer slowly, laying out the fascinating parameters of Cage's world before opening up its argument in an astonishing denouement.
Jonathan Rosenbaum
A caustic satire masquerading as an action adventure.
David Denby
A raffishly ironic and insinuating movie -- and probably the most sheerly enjoyable film of the year so far.
Mick LaSalle
There are the makings here of a really good feature or an even better documentary, but as it stands, Lord of War is not quite either.

Not so hot This movie was a disappointment. They, the actors, didn't have many lines to memorize!! All they needed to do is spout off all the junior high swear words they ever learned!!! The movie got lost in the useless, childish language that would normally be heard in aB rated movie. I expected much more integrity from Cage. Very sad. This movie needed mature, educated actors to pull off the depth of the truth of this story. Instead, we got boys who liked to pretend they were " tough guys". Too bad.
Great movie! Lord of War is an exellento movie the first 20-30 minutes may be slow to some but the rest is action packed. Nicolas cage plays the part of an arms dealer perfectly and the movie has some really funny parts(lead singer tof 30 seconds to mars drawso Ukraine with a razorblade and a kiolo of coke lol) anyway, this is a must see movie if you like an action packed thriller with good comedy. Has some good boobie shots too :D
Great Movie this movie is wonderful, despite the over use of swear words.
Good movie Let's u appreciate life in a free world and shows the greed of rich going richer despite hundreds dying in their "fair trade"
Fantastic! Excellent film! Cage really comes through. Wish they casted anyone else but Leto.. poor guy can't act his way out if a bag... but still..hard to knock this movie at all. Historical fiction with some dark comedy here and there.. while maintaining it as a quite serious film. Very well done, based on a true story. Highly Recommended.
Great Movie Finally I can purchase the movie. $19 is a bit expensive, but I'll do it this once
Great work by Cage Worth a watch for the title sequence alone.

The Dark Knight Rises
Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures "The Dark Knight Rises" is the epic conclusion to filmmaker Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight trilogy. It has been eight years since Batman vanished into the night, turning, in that instant, from hero to fugitive. Assuming the blame for the death of D.A. Harvey Dent, the Dark Knight sacrificed everything for what he and Commissioner Gordon both hoped was the greater good. For a time the lie worked, as criminal activity in Gotham City was crushed under the weight of the anti-crime Dent Act. But everything will change with the arrival of a cunning cat burglar with a mysterious agenda. Far more dangerous, however, is the emergence of Bane, a masked terrorist whose ruthless plans for Gotham drive Bruce out of his self-imposed exile. But even if he dons the cape and cowl again, Batman may be no match for Bane. MPAA Rating: PG-13 - 2012 Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc. and Legendary Pictures Funding, LLC. 300
The epic graphic novel by Frank Miller (Sin City) assaults the screen with the blood, thunder and awe of its ferocious visual style faithfully recreated in an intense blend of live-action and CGI animation. Retelling the ancient Battle of Thermopylae, it depicts the titanic clash in which King Leonidas (Gerard Butler) and 300 Spartans fought to the death against Xerxes (Rodrigo Santoro) and his massive Persian army.
