J. R. Jones
This is cloying, deceitful, and more or less irresistible.
This is an embarrassment, an overdrawn rom-com gone very wrong.
Peter Rainer
A highly engineered puffball.
Andrew Sarris
All in all, I thoroughly enjoyed the movie until, in the end, it went somewhat bonkers with what amounted to a communal love fest on Christmas Eve.
Stanley Kauffmann
Whatever the actors are given to do they make so delightful -- or so delightfully moving -- that Love Actually wins out over its wobbles.
Richard Roeper
... a terrific film.

It's terrific fun for an hour, but by the last of its 129 minutes you might find yourself going into insulin shock.

I Actually Love "Love Actually" Now THIS is my favorite movie of all time, and I don't know why. There's nothing stellar or poignant about it. But for some reason I can watch it time and time again and still laugh and cry. I think it's because I love love and romance, and I love good cry every once in awhile. The acting in it is pretty basic, but the actors give great performances... especially Hugh Grant, and that says a lot cause I've never really been a fan of his. It's just a great movie with a great ensemble cast. You'll love it.
Christmas tradition I've been watching this movie every year since its come out, always brings me back and brings out the holiday spirit in me.
Loved this movie ... a must see More of an adult movie but is funny, witty and an amazing cast
Well done! If you're a sap for romantic comedies, this won't disappoint.
