Kenneth Turan
A sage once advised being wary of movies in which the people on screen are having more fun than the people in the audience. Mamma mia, was that good advice.
Anthony Lane
The legal definition of torture has been much aired in recent years, and I take Mamma Mia! to be a useful contribution to that debate.
Richard Roeper
A lot of fun.
Dana Stevens
The movie's spirit is somewhere between High School Musical and Hedwig and the Angry Inch; it's at once dorkily wholesome and proudly slutty.
Amy Biancolli
If you're invited, you might as well enjoy yourself. Just don't say I didn't warn you. And don't you dare say I hate ABBA.
Peter Rainer
Streep certainly gives it the old college try and so do Walters and Baranski, who are experienced singer/dancers. Somehow they all end up looking just as flamboyantly amateurish as everybody else.

Best movie If you are sad, watch the movie, if you are angry watch the movie, if you feel lonely watch the movie, if you are sick watch it. This movie brings you in a good mood. It's funny and the songs are awesome. You can watch it in every situation. I've seen the movie over 14 times and I can still watch it.
Oh yea I love that movie if u r hating this movie then u suck I love u if u love this movie so f••• off if u hate it

I was so skeptical when my roommate introduced me to this movie... But now it is one of my favorites. Amanda Seyfried said it best when she said that ABBA is a feel good drug that works instantly. I can just hear the intro to one of these songs and I will instantly start to dance along. I love every single one of these actors and I love the fact that they seem to be enjoying themselves so much that it shows through the script. This is one of the movies that I go to when I need a pick me up and it works everytime!
Favorite Loved it, i really liked pierce character. And rosie made me laugh.
love it, watched it twenty times I have bought the dvd but it's not working outside of the USA, I would probably purchase it again on my asus tf to have with me while traveling. it's a great movie, very well played with wonderful actors. I saw the show but i like the movie better. Loved the show, too, though.
Great Musical I have seen this movie at least a dozen times and still like to watch it just for the music.
MAMMA MIA Love it but sad I rent it for mothers day and it didnt work but I will still give MAMMA MIA 5 stars
Mama mia So bad and confusing. Only good thing is seeing how bad some of the actors could sing.
