Synopsis

Disney•Pixar proudly presents the hilarious story of how two mismatched monsters met and became lifelong friends in a movie screaming with laughter and oozing with heart. Ever since college-bound Mike Wazowski (Billy Crystal) was a little monster, he's dreamed of becoming a Scarer—and he knows better than anyone that the best Scarers come from Monsters University (MU). But during his first semester at MU, Mike's plans are derailed when he crosses paths with hotshot James P. Sullivan, "Sulley" (John Goodman), a natural-born Scarer. The pair's out-of-control competitive spirit gets them both kicked out of the University's elite Scare Program. With their dreams temporarily dashed, they realize they will have to work together, along with an odd bunch of misfit monsters, if they ever hope to make things right.

Pixar has been Disney-fied I really enjoyed "Monsters, Inc.". Heck, I enjoyed Finding Nemo, The Incredibles, Wall-E, Ratatouille, and Up. Even though they were children's movies, they were enjoyable by adults. Monsters University (MU) doesn't take any chances and feels like a kid's movie. It's predictable, the gags are basically slapstick, and like Cars, seems to be written to maximize the theme park and merchandise tie-ins. It used to be that Pixar's mediocre fare was still better than everyone else's best efforts. This is no longer the case. I

Raul Alcantar Pixar's First Prequel Monsters University When Mike Was A Little Monsters He Wishes To Be A Scarer At Monsters Incorporated So Over The Years Past He Got To Monsters University So He Has To Learn To Be A Scarer So The First Day Class He Got One Chance To Be In The Scare Program But If Dean Finds Out Your Not Scary Then You Are Sent Packing So There We Met Sulley Witch He Wanted To Scarer To. So Between Mike'And Sully Go And Practice But Because Rivalry They Both Get Kicked Out And Their Dreams Are Dashed Until Mike Has An Idea The Big Scare Between The Futurities To Who Is The Scary Of Them All It's Mike That Say's If We Can in That Then Dean Have To Let Back The Scare Program But They Only Problem Is They Need A Futuritie But The Only Futurity That Can Take Them Is One Of Other Scare Rejects. So I Actuality Enjoyed Monsters University Fan Of All Age Were Wanting A Other Monsters Movie So We Had To Thank Dan Scanlon For Directing This And Billy Crystal For Mike Wazowski And John Goodman As James p. Surprisingly great sequel I loved Monsters' Inc so much I was afraid the sequel would partly sour my feelings but this was delightful. Very funny with lots of cute scenes, making it great for kids and adults alike even if there isn't quite as much cleverness for older audiences as the first

Life lessons I am actually very pleased with a theme about facing consequences for your actions. Even though they are not pleasant. Otherwise a very nice pixar movie. P.S. even if you don't go there you MUST check out the new pixar's short - "Blue umbrella"!!! Its' unbelievably beautiful.

Perfect for all ages A lot of junk out there but not here... Not just for kids either, catch myself watching this when my daughter turns it on.. Plus, John Goodman is a great well known actor(Roseanne) and has a great voice over for his character..

Great Family Entertainment This movie was great for the whole family, from 83 to 7! It had a wonderful story that the youngest could follow and the comedy spanned the gaps of all ages. It also led smoothly into Monsters Inc. Letting you know how most main characters got their start. Definately a must see for kids and adults alike.

Horrible Pixar took a huge dump on my favorite characters. Just garbage, of course I'm kidding, this is my favorite CGI movie ever, sure it has its problems but, it was great for all the other parts. Very interesting plot twist too. Get this movie.

At least they didn't f**k it up There is a long history where animated sequels or prequels are accessed but in this case, it was a fun time anyway. The 3D sucked but I'm glad Sully and Mike were back and as good as ever even though the plot as familiar and it didn't have the same charm. Still great though none the less.

Better than Expected The first monsters movie is one of my all time favorite cartoons, so I really was not expecting this to even come close but was I ever wrong. Very well done and definitely worthy of a sequel.

Loved it! I'm definitely in the minority when I say that I liked it better than the first one. I really enjoyed the Revenge of the Nerds base of the story. At the very least, you'll enjoy the excellent Pixar animation and the typical disney humor. It makes a fine addition to any movie collection.

Stunning Visual, Slack Plot The visuals in this movie were great, Nathan Fillon did a great job as the protagonist, but the plot line was predictable and uninspired. This is, however a great movie for kids.
