Rejoice & Shout
REJOICE & SHOUT covers the 200 year history of African-American Christianity, featuring the legends of Gospel music, including The Staple Singers, The Clara Ward Singers, The Dixie Hummingbirds, and Sister Rosetta Tharpe. Culled from hundreds of hours of music, tracing the evolution of gospel music through its many styles -- the spirituals and early hymns, the four-part harmony-based quartets, the integration of blues and swing, the emergence of "soul," and the blending of rap and hip-hop elements. It connects the history of African-American culture with gospel as it first impacted popular culture at large and captures so much of what is special about this music and African-American Christianity.

Violinist Jessica Moss and singer/guitarist Efrim Menuck, founding member of the revered Montreal band, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, had it all figured out ... or at least some of it. Partners in love and art, they were making music and a modest living touring in their own band, the extraordinary Thee Silver Mt. Zion Memorial Orchestra. But when their son Ezra is born, everything changes. In the age of the digital download, constant touring is synonymous with economic survival. But is the road a place for a toddler? Featuring extensive footage of Thee Silver Mount Zion performing live on their North American tour, Come Worry With Us delivers a heartfelt depiction of the increasingly complex personal choices musicians - and especially women - have to make in today's music business.
Neil Diamond - Thank You Australia Concert
Music

Neil Diamond is an American legend. He is one of the finest and most successful songwriters of the last forty years as well as being a multi-platinum selling recording artist and one of the most dynamic and consummate live performers of his generation. This concert from the Sydney Sports Stadium was the culmination of his Australia & New Zealand tour in 1976, an event which marked his comeback to the live stage after a creatively fruitful four year sabbatical from live performance. The vast crowd was typical of this record breaking tour, still one of the most memorable in Australian history, and Neil Diamond delivered the enthralling performance of a true showman.
Forks Over Knives
What has happened to us? Despite the most advanced medical technology in the world, we are sicker than ever by nearly every measure.
Two out of every three of us are overweight. Cases of diabetes are exploding, especially amongst our younger population. About half of us are taking at least one prescription drug. Major medical operations have become routine, helping to drive health care costs to astronomical levels. Heart disease, cancer and stroke are the country's three leading causes of death, even though billions are spent each year to "battle" these very conditions. Millions suffer from a host of other degenerative diseases.
Could it be there's a single solution to all of these problems? A solution so comprehensive but so utterly straightforward, that it's mind-boggling that more of us haven't taken it seriously?
FORKS OVER KNIVES examines the profound claim that most, if not all, of the so-called "diseases of affluence" that afflict us can be controlled, or even reversed, by rejecting our present menu of animal-based and processed foods. The major storyline in the film traces the personal journeys of a pair of pioneering yet under-appreciated researchers, Dr. T. Colin Campbell and Dr. Caldwell Esselstyn.
