An absolute hoot.

This is a picture good enough to make you want to go to the movies and frightening enough to make you wonder if you should avoid the crowds.

Displays all the initial symptoms of a promising thriller, it soon degenerates into a low-fever whodunit.
Roger Ebert
One of the great scare stories of our time.
John Hartl
Comes off as a shrill, self-important bore.

No one likes to be teased, but that's exactly what this movie does to us, with predictably frustrating results.

From the producers of Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy comes a riveting and suspenseful mystery starring Eric Bana and Rebecca Hall. A high-profile terrorism case unexpectedly brings two exceptional lawyers (Eric Bana and Rebecca Hall) with a romantic past together on the defense team. They soon realize they've stepped into a dangerous web of cover-ups and lies, and their knowledge of the government's top-secret classified evidence has put their reputations and lives at stake. Co-starring Ciarán Hinds, Julia Stiles and Jim Broadbent, it's a non-stop, heart-racing guessing game that critics call "an entertaining conspiracy thriller." (Jocelyn Noveck, Associated Press)

Roger Ferris (Leonardo DiCaprio) is the best man U.S. Intelligence has on the ground, in places where human life is worth no more than the information it can get you. In operations that take him around the globe, Ferris' next breath often depends on the voice at the other end of a secure phone line--CIA veteran Ed Hoffman (Russell Crowe). Strategizing from a laptop in the suburbs, Hoffman is on the trail of an emerging terrorist leader who has orchestrated a campaign of bombings while eluding the most sophisticated intelligence network in the world. To lure the terrorist out into the open, Ferris will have to penetrate his murky world, but the closer Ferris gets to the target, the more he discovers that trust is both a dangerous commodity and the only one that will get him out alive.

Sandra Bullock plays Dr. Ryan Stone, a brilliant engineer on her first shuttle mission, with veteran astronaut Matt Kowalski, played by George Clooney. The deafening silence tells them they have lost any link to Earth...and any chance for rescue. As fear turns to panic, every gulp of air eats away at what little oxygen is left. But the only way home may be to go further out into the terrifying expanse of space.

How far would you go to protect your family? Oscar® nominee Hugh Jackman stars as a man facing every parent's worst nightmare. His six-year-old daughter is missing, together with her young friend -- and as minutes turn to hours, panic sets in. The only lead is a dilapidated RV that had earlier been parked on their street. Heading the investigation, the detective in charge (Jake Gyllenhaal) arrests its driver (Paul Dano), but a lack of evidence forces his release. As the police pursue multiple leads and pressure mounts, knowing his child's life is at stake, the frantic father decides he has no choice but to take matters into his own hands. But just how far will he go to protect his family? Led by Jackman and Gyllenhaal, this dramatic thriller features an all-star cast, including Maria Bello as Keller's distraught wife; Oscar® nominees Terrence Howard and Viola Davis as the other parents, whose daughter also went missing; in addition to Academy Award® winner Melissa Leo.
The Long Kiss Goodnight
What's forgotten is not always gone. Geena Davis stars with Samuel L. Jackson as a typical mother and schoolteacher with a past that's anything but typical -- only she can't remember it and it could come back to kill her in The Long Kiss Goodnight. Eight years ago, Samantha Caine lost her memory, and since then she has slowly built a new life, even though disturbing flashes of memory and strange, seemingly innate skills haunt her. When a car accident and a news story start to trigger her memory, she hires detective Mitch Henessy to investigate. But others are watching, and she has only been safe as long as she can't remember.
Getaway
"Getaway" is the gritty, heart-pounding action thriller from Warner Bros. Pictures and Dark Castle Entertainment starring Academy Award® nominee Ethan Hawke ("Training Day," "The Purge," "Sinister"), actress and international music sensation Selena Gomez ("Springbreakers," "Wizards of Waverly Place"), and Academy Award® winner Jon Voight ("Coming Home," the "National Treasure" films) under the direction of Courtney Solomon ("An American Haunting"), who also produced the film.
Former race car driver Brent Magna (Hawke) is pitted against the clock. Desperately trying to save the life of his kidnapped wife, Brent commandeers a custom Ford Shelby GT500 Super Snake, taking it and its unwitting owner (Gomez) on a high-speed race against time, at the command of the mysterious villain holding his wife hostage.
Rounding out the cast are Rebecca Budig and Bruce Payne.
Operation Eichmann
Drama
1
Adolph Eichmann, architect of Hitler's heinous "final solution" which resulted in the murder of six million Jews, escapes Germany at the end of WWII. But two intrepid Israeli agents vow he will not escape justice. Released when the real-life Eichmann trial had the world riveted, the uncompromising Operation Eichmann tells the story of a Nazi zealot drunk on the power to send millions of his fellow human beings to their deaths in gas chambers. And it tells the story of Israeli agents David and Jacob, who miraculously survived one of Eichmann's mass executions when they were children. A 15-year manhunt is on as Eichmann and his mistress hopscotch the globe, pursued by David, Jacob and more dedicated Nazi-hunters, who sometimes wonder if it is better to kill than to capture Eichmann. A suspenseful adventure, a political thriller, and a true-life tale of good and evil: that is Operation Eichmann.

Jean Negulesco continues his classic run of forties film noirs with this tale of a con artist who falls for the mark he is trying to fleece. The great John Garfield commands the screen as grifter Nick Blake, who returns to New York after the war, only to find heartache and betrayal. Heading west, Nick hooks up with fellow con men Pop (Walter Brennan) and Doc (George Coulouris), who need a Romeo to sweep recently widowed Gladys Halvorsen (Geraldine Fitzgerald) off her feet and out of her sizable inheritance. But it's Nick who starts falling, and now that he wants out of the scam, will that fall turn into a dive? Or will Gladys pay the price for Nick's change of heart?
Garfield is his usual astonishing self, it's Fitzgerald who proves a revelation, as she stabs at the heart of noir's darkness by perfectly impersonating pure innocence. Faye Emerson plays the fatale, as Nick's sultry ex.

Negulesco and noir - a heady brew. Jean Negulesco proved his stunning noir debut The Mask of Dimitrios was no fluke by following up with an astonishing run of film noir classics, starting with the war noir intrigue and romance of The Conspirators. Hedy Lamarr (The Heavenly Body) headlines a cast of Casablanca veterans (Paul Henreid and "The Masters of Mystery," Sydney Greenstreet and Peter Lorre) as the mysterious Irene Von Mohr, whose secrets lie at the heart of wartime Lisbon's underworld and underground.
After committing an act of sabotage against the Nazis, Vincent Van Der Lyn (Henreid) escapes from the Netherlands to neutral Portugal, where he enlists in the underground resistance under the leadership of Ricardo Quintanilla (Greenstreet). Tasked by Quitanilla with uncovering a traitor, Vincent soon finds himself being fitted for a frame while falling for the secretive Irene. And the Nazis are closing in...

Adams' supervisor informs her that she will be working undercover for the police, as they suspect Wynne was murdered. Or will she be the next victim?
The Dark Knight Rises
Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures "The Dark Knight Rises" is the epic conclusion to filmmaker Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight trilogy. It has been eight years since Batman vanished into the night, turning, in that instant, from hero to fugitive. Assuming the blame for the death of D.A. Harvey Dent, the Dark Knight sacrificed everything for what he and Commissioner Gordon both hoped was the greater good. For a time the lie worked, as criminal activity in Gotham City was crushed under the weight of the anti-crime Dent Act. But everything will change with the arrival of a cunning cat burglar with a mysterious agenda. Far more dangerous, however, is the emergence of Bane, a masked terrorist whose ruthless plans for Gotham drive Bruce out of his self-imposed exile. But even if he dons the cape and cowl again, Batman may be no match for Bane. MPAA Rating: PG-13 - 2012 Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc. and Legendary Pictures Funding, LLC. The partnership proves to be effective, but they soon find themselves prey to a reign of chaos unleashed by a rising criminal mastermind known to the terrified citizens of Gotham as 'The Joker' (Heath Ledger).
