Cath Clarke
'30 Rock' and 'New Girl' writer Kay Cannon has created brilliant characters.
Laura Beck
The girls, for the most part, are genuinely funny, weird, real, and, most excitingly, confident.
Bruce Diones
Warblers win the day in this sweet-natured film (based on a swell behind-the-scenes book by Mickey Rapkin) about the life and loves of collegians from competing a-cappella groups.
Richard Roeper
This is one of the strangest and also one of the more entertaining movies of the year.
David Edelstein
Cannon doesn't go in for rococo hipster badinage in the vein of Diablo Cody. She can pare down a joke to its essence ...
Stephen Whitty
What we have here is a not-very-funny college comedy for tweens, full of unappealing characters (and although the musical arrangements are fun, some truly unimaginative choreography).

Luckily, the good outweighs the bad in this bright 'n' breezy comedy about competitive a cappella singing groups.

A high school student graduates and goes to college. She is like a dj and loves music. When there is clubs to sign up for and ask her if she can sing but tells them she cant soon they catch her that she really can sing. When they practice they are good but on small competitions they embarrase themselce Love this movie wish that i can get it in my phone but cant btw this movie is 100% hilarious....thx to the director and the actors u guys r AWESOME!!!!
Way better than expected. I bought this for a friend, and I came into it thinking it was gonna be terrible. But it was surprisingly good, the jokes were good and surprisingly not childish, Not too much singing and they dont just break into song and sing in the streets. Its a typical story of not fitting in, getting accepted, being torn from the group, and re-accepted, definitely worth at least renting.
Good movie It starts out really boring and cliché (like your typical "New girl in town, she makes friends, gets a boyfriend, and she lives happily ever after.) But it starts to pick up the pace later on. Even though it is very cliche, it's still an enjoyable movie. Has a few funny parts, but the whole thing isn't just "Ha ha hilarious". It's kind of corny at times too. I still would recommend this movie though.

Entertaining Saw it when it came out with a couple of friends at the movie theather. At first, I was a bit skeptical when I saw the trailer but quite frankly, this "musical" comedic movie was pretty good. A bit cliché, but I was never bored with "Fat Amy" around ;) It's a good movie to watch either on your own or with friends I'd say whenever you got nothing else to do.
Omg This movie was amazing if u like acapella this is a good movie for you. Along with the usually singing of an acapella group comes great inappropriate humor. This movie may not be suitable for kids but it is amazing. I suggest that younger boy and maybe older brothers should not watch this with their sisters. It brings up a few awkward moments. Overall this movie is a good time and I did enjoy it enough to give it 5 stars. The singing is amazing and some of the guys don't look so bad either!!

Good movie ... but coulda been better Good movie, fun, good singing ... though couldn't help hearing that the voices didn't seem to match the singer. Not a huge Glee fan, but seem to think they could have done a better job. The compilation numbers were great! Loved their dedication to the gift, though. Would I have been this bold and confident to join and compete with this group in high school/college? Hmmm...

Pitch Perfect is Aca-Awesome! ANYONE... male or female, young or old can enjoy watching Pitch Perfect. If you like movies, music, comedy and a good story, you should like this movie. (Don't peg it as just another chick flick) This film showcases the actors singing a capella, and the soundtrack is amazing. Anna K. and Rebel W. really shine in this movie but the entire cast was fantastic! It's easy to see Pitch Perfect becoming another cult classic. Two thumbs up!👍👍
Honestly not that great. I went into this movie with an open mind, but I have to say this movie really wasn't too great. There are "funny" moments if you enjoy crude humor, but other than that, this movie offers very little. There is poor character development, and the movie progresses so fast in addition to the lack of character depth, that it leaves you feeling empty and confused. Another part of this movie is the music, which in all honesty could be much better. It sounds off pitch, not pitch perfect. The song selections are dull as well. The shallow characters, the rate at which this movie progresses, and the lack of interesting music make for an experience that just doesn't satisfy (satisfy me anyway). Perhaps give it a shot and see what you think, but I give it 3 stars.

Good movie dont get me wrong. The only problem I have with these movies is that they keep making more of them like the dance movies. Like seriously stop, we got it everybody can dance. This one however actually got my attention and it actually has a pretty funny cast. I'm sorry but I despise the vomit scene. it felt forced and very un needed, all around I guess they just wanted something gross. I did enjoy it though(the movie), I just hope they don't start making more like this. I really dont want to see a pitch perfect four. I would recommend because they can all sing rather well and the story is fun to watch. So try it out I promise you will like it. (Aside from the throwing up scene....I dont think anyone likes that part.)

Great cast, fun movie, very entertaining. I was a show choir kid back in middle and high school, so maybe I have a soft spot for movies like this involving singing groups and competitions. Don't be put off by the singing because this is a comedy, not a musical. The performances make sense and aren't random. The cast is great, very talented. It was just a lot of fun. I'll definitely see the sequel.

LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!! Omg! I love it so much I have watched it 14 times, made a dance from it, got posters, made crafts from it, made handshakes from it, and SO much more. YOU MUST SEE THIS MOVIE, THE BEST MOVIE OF ALL TIME- IF YOU DONT SEE IT THEN YOUR MISSING OUT ON THE BIGGEST AND BEST PART OF YOUR LIFE!!!! I LOVE IT SO MUCH I CANT EXPLAIN IT IN WORDS!!!! that is how much I love pitch perfect

This sinfully funny movie starring Academy Award® winner Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway is sensationally entertaining in every way. As assistant to impossibly demanding New York fashion magazine editor Miranda Priestly (Streep), young Andy Sachs (Hathaway) has landed a job that "a million girls would die for." Unfortunately, her heaven-sent appointment as Miranda's personal whipping girl just might be the death of her! The Devil Wears Prada is based on the internationally best-selling novel by Lauren Weisberger, which spent six months on the New York Times bestseller list and was translated into 27 languages.
