Eh...OK at best...but NOT great Too much love story with hints of the Pompeii story instead of the other way around. Whoever said it was like Titanic was sorta right. Except Titanic was a better film. Made you kind of care about the characters. Not enough development, or there should have been more along with more of the history (if possible)

Terrible! Not that I should have been surprised as I didn't have high expectations. Downloaded this on the run in the airport just looking for something simple to pass the time. It was just inexcusable and terrible. Honestly, my time would have been better spent just looking out the window at the passing clouds...

Total boring CGIFest Save your money, horrible plot, everything was rushed, there was no chemistry between any characters, none of the characters were in depth explored. Effects looked good but way overdone. Very disapointing

Titanic Wannabe What a let down. It was like Gladiator and Titanic put together. Except those movies were good. This was awful. The ending was good, but the whole movie got worse and worse as it moved along.

What a letdown Such a terrible movie. Knowing they are all going to die anyway just made the ridiculous plot all that much more disappointing. I was so hoping they could do something interesting with this historic town and they really just completely let the ball drop. Don't waste your money on this terrible awful movie.

And I thought Hercules was bad... Once again Hollywood does everything they can to pump out a movie and made a smelly turd. Everything in the movie was Bad. Everything. Acting to Cg and everything in between. Terrible, aweful and a complete was of money and time. To think people are starving and we waste money on this garbage. I feel guilty to be an American.
I see why this movie got bad reviews. It was good all the way up to the eruption, which was so unhistorically inaccurate that it was ridiculous; there were no firbombs and sudden rapid disintegration of earth and stone, and there definitely was no huge tsunami. All of the exaggerated destruction really took away from what could have been a very good movie. Was good to see Kiefer Sutherland in a role other than Jack Bauer. And John Snow was typically John Snow.
