This movie gets its charge not from action pyrotechnics but from its electric barrage of language, wisecracks and dialogue, from the mordant '70s classicism of its long-take camera style and its...
Kenneth Turan
The result, especially in the scenes involving Bruce Willis as a nervy boxer, can be long patches of dialogue that must have tickled Tarantino but will not necessarily resonate for anyone else.
Anthony Lane
The talk is dirty and funny, the violence always waiting just around the corner.
Carrie Rickey
Whether you call it razzmatazz, pizazz or sizzle, Pulp Fiction's got it, enough style for a dozen movies and, truth be told, enough story for five.
John Hartl
At 153 minutes, the movie does occasionally flirt with tedium, but the risk is worth it: The whole is finally greater than the sum of its pulpy parts. What could have been an anything-goes pastiche...

In terms of mood and style, it could be the most influential film to come along since Blue Velvet.

An American Classic Virtually everything about this movie is perfect. The acting, especially from Samuel L. Jackson and John Travolta, is phenomenal. The imagery, from Vincent shooting heroin in his Malibu to Butch riding off in Zed's chopper is unforgettable. The soundtrack is stellar with many classics from the 50's-70's that perfectly blend in with the scenes in which they are used. And not to forget the incredible dialogue with many quotable lines. I strongly advise watching this movie if you haven't already.
Great movie but wierd service I liked Pulp Fiction a lot. But i recently became a Galaxy S3 user converted from an iphone 4. I wasnt a big fan of itunes but i like how they let me download the movie that i rent then they lock it later i had some problems with the player because of my poor internet. Please have a download option like itunes it would make this experience better....
Its a must watch. Though it seems slow in the beginning with its opinionative conversations and high rationalizations of life. It picks up the suspense and not one character is bad. Except for 3 rapists, lol but all the protagonists and some antagonists are likeable til the end of the film. Its a considered a success and must be seen to understand its complexity. Which makes it a great film. But not for the whole family, lol.
Masterpiece! Tarantino's best film. After this film everyone started messing around with the editing to have a discontinuous plot structure. Now it is overdone, and is seen as a cheap way to make your movie interesting. But when Tarantino did it, it was on par with Hitchcock. The symbolism and other stylistic aspects make this film worth watching a dozen times. Keep in mind that Marcellus Wallace represents the devil, so it is actually funny when he's raped, which is terrible to say. Only QT can make rape funny
Contemporary Classic... It first looks like it's been done before many times before and since...but not with this level of reverent irreverence...none of them can outdo what this flick does...makes you laugh and cringe at such horribly violent things, and gets you to love to hate such strangely f-ed up characters! Characters that can push the limits of likeability/ believability, but so do many similarly act in real life, too...
Tarantino's Well Known Masterpiece Roger Avary and Quentin Tarantino bring us the script of their lives in this 1994 classic. Sam Jackson is phenomenal with his portrayal of Jules, a current hit man who notices signs from above that make him realize that's time to call it quits. Uma Thurman brings her pizazz with her nice figure and wild acting chops that critics came to adore. Mr. Travolta plays it cool as he climbs back into the spotlight. He's just another hit man who LOVES to get high. He returns from Amsterdam and tells Jules all of the differences it has compared to the US, in a scene that you literally won't forget. Bruce Willis and Christopher Walken... that's all I need to say for those 2. I am super impressed with this script because it goes in non-chronological order. I guess that's why there were 2 writers instead of just Quentin. The only thing I disliked was the use of the N word. It literally was used as a replacement for "African American" and "black." I didn't like that one bit. Since I know Tarantino is not a racist, I'm cool with it. Anyway, it is great that the 2 of them teamed up to prevent disaster. Furthermore, this film is greatly written, scored, directed and casted.
Ezekiel 25:17 The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he, who in the name of charity and goodwill, shepherds the weak from the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper, and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger, those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know that I am the lord, when I lay m lying vengeance upon you. (Varies)
Superb movie This is MY all time favorite movie. #1 in a long list. The dialog makes the movie. Samuel L Jackson doesn't hurt either. Soooo many great lines. A MUST own for film lovers. I have watched it over 50 times, and will watch another 500. Best movie ever made.

Best one liners I don't understand people who don't enjoy this movie. All of the stories intertwine. It has hilarious dialogue. Never a dull moment. WHAT is there not to LOVE?
Great Movie! There is absolutely no other movie like this one it's amazing and hilarious. Highly recommend I just wish I had the option to purchase the movie through Google Play.
Great Quintin Tarantino is one of the very few directors who can write and direct lengthy dialog scenes, and hold my attention. He films with such depth and even simplicity that I'm drawn in the through the whole thing. Pulp Fiction is gritty, violent and hilarious. Definitely a must see.
