Red is a goofball lament. It's saying that in the good old days, or at least in the good old movie days, our killers were good-time guys.
David Jenkins
Beneath its light exterior is not only a neat, if unsubtle, political undercurrent but a rebellious streak about how the allure of firing an RPG outweighs the prospect of retirement.
Ben Sachs
Much of the enjoyment comes from seeing these respected thespians so thoroughly embody cartoon characters; it's like Sidney Lumet directing Space Jam.
Tom Long
You're never too old for mayhem.
Laremy Legel
What really works for Red is our shared history with the actors involved.
Lisa Kennedy
Red has ka-booms, rat-a-tat-tats and a wildly extended first date. It's edgy and fantastically gooey -- and flaunts it.

Funny movie with incredible action. I went into this film not really knowing much about it and expecting a relatively stale action movie. The opening made me wonder if I was watching a drama instead, and then the action happened. It was over-the-top, cheesy, and really fun! I felt I was going to enjoy the movie and then the funny hit me. It hit me hard too. I think I enjoyed this film more than I have many in recent history and I look forward to its sequel!

Love it love it love it I recommend this to everyone I know its so good. If you didn't see this movie rent it or buy it because it's amazing and if you watch the first one the second one will be like familiar to you but not expected and will be just great I watched like this movie a million times and then I just watched the second one like two or three times its great
Surprisingly excellent!! The trailer doesn't give the movie any justice. I thought the movie was going to be overly cheesy and quite awful to be honest, Given the review rating, I gave it a shot. I was pleasantly surprised and yet reaffirmed by the review system that the people's thoughts do mean something. Again, thoroughly impressed based from the previews. For those that like Bruce Willis, it's worth watching too. Cheers!
Great Hilarious, action packed, great story, amazing cast lineup.
