Asia's largest mall is ready for inauguration, although there's a myth surrounding the mall. Over the period of its construction people have started labelling it as Haunted Mall. On the opening eve the owner of the mall, Mr. Manchanda calls a press conference and to dispel the fears announces that he would spend a night at the Mall with the board of directors. Manchanda and group are not the only ones to be inside the Mall this night. Manchanda's daughter Ahana & her junky friends make their way inside, as does 24 year old Vishnu, the chief of security at the Mall who has a past that haunts him. Who's There? (Kaun Hai Wahan?), is the story of a girl whose husband is haunted by her ex-boyfriend's ghost. Muskan (Kalpana Mathur) and Jay (Gagan Kang) love each other. But Muskan marries a rich businessman, Sunny (Rajbeer), at the insistence of her parents. Heartbroken, Jay consumes poison with the intention of committing suicide. Next, Sunny and Muskan, happily married, go on their honeymoon to a resort in Kerala. At the resort, Sunny starts seeing Jay's ghost in several forms - as a dead body, as the non-existent watchman, as the taxi driver, etc., Muskan doesn't believe him but, nevertheless, wants to go back to Bombay, as Sunny is delirious most of the time. Tarun, an out-of-towner architect moves in with his family to a luxurious bungalow that he has acquired on a rather cheap rent. Soon 10 yr. old Taman and 6yr old Nimmi who are often at loggerheads find their own activities to do in the new house. The parents suspect Nimmi's playfulness and wild imagination as the reason for her new 'friends'.

Soon Tarun's younger sister Pooja surprises the family by visiting them straight after a wildlife photography assignment. The prankster in Pooja decides to scare Nimmi but instead gets jolted by a Shabbu remark. As Tarun, Namrata and Pooja discuss Nimmi's fixation over her imaginary friend Shabbu; the domestic help Laxman is sure of the presence of a spirit in Nimmi's life. Laxman's worries receive severe backlash from Tarun, an ardent rationalist. Soon, each night at the bungalow seem to turn for the worse, all with knocks at unearthly hours, demonic sounds and eerie movements throughout the house. The psychiatrist explains Nimmi's imaginary friend as a result of her loneliness and terms it as a common technique used by children to grab attention. Laxman's sudden disappearance and the increasing curiosity in Pooja to find answers for the ongoing activities make her install cameras at various places in the house. The footage from these cameras is proof enough for the already disturbed Namrata to take a decision to vacate the house. The otherwise cool-headed Tarun's mind starts reeling as he sees the captured footage. The family finally decides to vacate the house. But the house has other plans of its own as Nimmi is found missing.
