Your enjoyment of French filmmaker Quentin's Dupieux's movie depends in large part on your capacity to enjoy the absurd. I enjoyed it quite a bit.
Tom Long
Rubber will undoubtedly be the best film about a round, hollow serial killer released this year.
Ty Burr
If "Rubber'' was half as smart as it is clever, we might be talking gonzo midnight four-star classic here.
Michael O'Sullivan
"Rubber" is a silly thing. But it doesn't stop at silly.
Liam Lacey
More a deadpan art provocation than a real movie, Rubber is spun out like a musical theme through a series of variations.
Jeff Shannon
Goofily amusing for 85 minutes, and a fitting B-feature to the E.T. comedy "Paul."

An exercise in horrific absurdity that is neither as scary nor as amusing as it hopes to be.

Four Lions
Four Lions tells the story of a group of British jihadists who push their abstract dreams of glory to the breaking point. As the wheels fly off, and their competing ideologies clash, what emerges is an emotionally engaging (and entirely plausible) farce. In a storm of razor-sharp verbal jousting and large-scale set pieces, Four Lions is a comic tour de force; it shows that - while terrorism is about ideology - it can also be about idiots.

Spring Breakers
From visionary director Harmony Korine comes a bold new vision of the seasonal American ritual known as spring break — the bacchanalia of bikinis, beach parties and beer bongs that attracts hordes of college students each year. Brit (Ashley Benson), Faith (Selena Gomez), Candy (Vanessa Hudgens) and Cotty (Rachel Korine) are best friends anxious to cut loose on their own spring break adventure, but they lack sufficient funds. After holding up a restaurant for quick cash, the girls head to the shore in a stolen car for what they discover is the party of a lifetime. They're thrown in jail — but quickly bailed out by Alien (James Franco), a local rapper, drug pusher and arms dealer who lures them into a criminal underbelly that's as lurid as it is liberating for a close-knit gang of girlfriends who are still figuring out their path. With a hallucinatory musical score by Cliff Martinez (DRIVE) and Skrillex, SPRING BREAKERS is an electrifying pop poem to girls gone wild. Harmony Korine unleashes a ferocious, feverish and furiously alive youth quake examining the sensory overload of a new generation of restless youth.

Superhero Movie
Super is as super does: Finally, the guys behind the outrageously silly "Scary Movie" franchise have used their own 'special powers' to spoof superhero movies. After being bitten by a genetically altered dragonfly, high school loser Rick Riker develop superhuman abilities like incredible strength and armored skin. Rick decides to use his new powers for good and becomes a costumed crime fighter known as "The Dragonfly." However, standing in the way of his destiny is the villainous Lou Landers. After an experiment gone wrong, Lou develops the power to steal a person's life force and in a dastardly quest for immortality becomes the supervillain, "The Hourglass." With unimaginable strength, unbelievable speed and deeply uncomfortable tights, will the Dragonfly be able to stop the sands of The Hourglass and save the world? More importantly, will we stop laughing long enough to notice?
Scary Movie 4
"Scary Movie 4", the most hilarious and irreverent installment yet with outrageous send-ups of "War of the Worlds", "The Grudge", "The Village", "Saw" and "Saw II", "Million Dollar Baby" and much more. Legendary comedy director David Zucker and producer Bob Weiss reunite to take aim at some of the best fright films, the latest box office hits, music, current events, pop culture, and your favorite celebrities. Anna Faris and Regina Hall are back as the loveable, dim-witted Cindy Campbell and her self-serving, sex-crazed pal, Brenda, respectively - joined this time around by Craig Bierko, as the cute-but-utterly clueless Tom Ryan. Together, they battle to save the world from a ruthless alien invasion.
Bernie
In the tiny, rural town of Carthage, TX, assistant funeral director Bernie Tiede was one of the town's most beloved residents. He taught Sunday school, sang in the church choir and was always willing to lend a helping hand. Everyone loved and appreciated Bernie, so it came as no surprise when he befriended Marjorie Nugent, an affluent widow who was as well known for her sour attitude as her fortune. Bernie frequently traveled with Marjorie and even managed her banking affairs. Marjorie quickly became fully dependent on Bernie and his generosity and Bernie struggled to meet her increasing demands. Bernie continued to handle her affairs, and the townspeople went months without seeing Marjorie. The people of Carthage were shocked when it was reported that Marjorie Nugent had been dead for some time, and Bernie Tiede was being charged with the murder.
