Wesley Morris
After a while, the movie tires of the witch business and trots out a plot twist that permits the effects department to spend money.
Leah Rozen
Another forgettable trifle from Cage.
Rafer Guzman
Director Dominic Sena sets a quick pace; the dull moments are brightened by the unexpectedly likable team of Cage and Perlman.
James Berardinelli
Cage is effective as a falling down drunk in Las Vegas or a treasure hunter navigating goofy road trips but not as a disillusioned champion of the Church going one-on-one with a demon. Steven...

It's Centurion Deux without the second-coming-of-Carpenter pretense, though you still wish the trashiness were more distinctive.

Even the most dedicated of Nicolas Cage's fans will find little to enjoy about the historical-fantasy-action romp Season of the Witch.

Liked it Not the best plot but good scenes and special effects. The two crusaders growing older together through many battles, then realizing they are not fighting for God's will but some priest who thinks he is God, then desert and take on the witch delivery. Not the best, but not the worst. I liked it.
Awesome movie overall! I thought this movie overall was pretty awesome! It had a nice blend of action, tension, and intrigue. Very well put togethor. Personally, I feel the plot line was very good. I liked the way the movie flowed from scene to scene. The way it played out, it was never boring or redundant.
Bad, bad, bad This movie is horrible...bad acting, bad plot, bad cg...at least it was with a quick laugh...
Hilariously Bad One of the worst acted movies I've ever seen. Hilarious actually. Cage and Perlman's wooden delivery of embarassingly hackneyed dialogue is like watching a train wreck. The teenage kid was the only decent actor in it. Anyway not completely irredeemable if you want to laugh at them as they stumble through an otherwise entertaining plot.
Bad? Bad?? No .... No bad, lets see.. What is worst than bad... Horrible? Lets do your self a favor an rent a different movie..don't waste your time
I saw it in Theaters I love it. Crazy stuff man. Really good. You gotta pay more attention than you think to understand the movie. It could be a great movie but some people just won't like it for the simple fact that it was confusing.
Interesting Movie Nick Cage and Ron Pearlman both provide a solid preformance. Not either of their best movie but still pretty likeable. I never could feel bad for girl, as Clare Foy just could not protray the duel personality needed for her role.
Nick J. I like the movie over all... But it could have been better. Mabey less confusing, definatly better to want the 2nd time around though
Loved it Great movie! Lots of haedcore action great plot twists
