Snitch runs close to two hours, and it's a credit to Summit Entertainment that they didn't reduce it to 90 minutes of Mexican drug loons trying to run John's truck off the highway.
Keith Staskiewicz
The film tries to paint in shades of gray with vague criticisms of the war on drugs, but the absurdity of its he-man Everyman plot ends up turning its moral palette a muddy brown.
Bilge Ebiri
In the end, this is a movie that lives or dies on Johnson's performance, and luckily, the actor is perfect ...
William Goss
Despite its apparent compromises to noble finger-wagging (initially) and requisite fist-pumping (eventually), Waugh has fashioned a sturdy character-first entertainment out of Snitch.
Mary F. Pols
Dwayne Johnson tries so hard to be taken seriously in the ponderous and preposterous drama Snitch that it hurts to watch him in much the same way it hurts to watch the weightlifting competition at...
Stephen Whitty
Ultimately, unfortunately, this is a property that probably would have been better as one of Johnson's old, less ambitious films - straightforwardly violent, and crammed with two-fisted revenge -...

Another drug deal gone bad. I can't stand it. You movie makers need to come up with some new ideas! How about one where the drug deal goes perfectly buyer an seller are happy shake hands and leave. Then show us how the buyer uses his drugs instead of selling little portions and how screwed up he gets. Something different!!!
Incredible. OMG... WHAT a great movie. If you're wondering why this was not a blockbuster in the theaters, its because it points out a disgusting federal law punishing first time offenders that makes drug distribution worse of a sentence than rape or bank robbery. NOTHING was a let down in this movie. It was all incredible. MUST SEE. The critic reviews are just that CRITICS. Way to go Dwayne Johnson. By far one of my favorite movies of yours and you have great movies!
Thank god got pirates This movie is terrible. Absolutely horrible movie. Dwayne the rock whomever did this simply for the money. He sure as hell didn't do this because it helped his acting skills. Like this guy doesn't stand out in a crowd. Wtf ever! Save your money, your time and a brain cell. Send a message to whomever greenlighted this p.o.s. that you won't watch a substandard film because of whom is staring in it!
Suspenseful & exciting! A truly great movie that exposes the truly harsh penalties of Federal "mandatory minimal sentencing" laws for people who get convicted for possession of medium-large amounts of dangerous drugs. The lesson even for "first-time offenders" is that drugs will eventually land you into jail!!

The Dark Knight Rises
Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures "The Dark Knight Rises" is the epic conclusion to filmmaker Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight trilogy. It has been eight years since Batman vanished into the night, turning, in that instant, from hero to fugitive. Assuming the blame for the death of D.A. Harvey Dent, the Dark Knight sacrificed everything for what he and Commissioner Gordon both hoped was the greater good. For a time the lie worked, as criminal activity in Gotham City was crushed under the weight of the anti-crime Dent Act. But everything will change with the arrival of a cunning cat burglar with a mysterious agenda. Far more dangerous, however, is the emergence of Bane, a masked terrorist whose ruthless plans for Gotham drive Bruce out of his self-imposed exile. But even if he dons the cape and cowl again, Batman may be no match for Bane. MPAA Rating: PG-13 - 2012 Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc. and Legendary Pictures Funding, LLC.
